"He's... Atlantean." I कहा as I read over his file. Kaldur'ahm son of Black Manta and formal protege to Aquaman. His alias was Aqualad. He had formed a team with Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis and other various sidekicks and young heroes. But had turned to the dark side when his old girlfriend, Tula otherwise known as Aquagirl, was killed on a mission.
"It looks like a broken heart..." I stated.
"He needs help. He needs somebody like आप to guide him" Chief said.
"I don't know. It sounds like a big case." I said, unsure of myself.
"This may be the case that could get आप up there."
"Fine." I said. "I'll take him."
"Good I know आप can do it." I heard him say but when I looked up he was already gone like he was never there at all.
I looked back at the young Atlantean's face. He seemed so distant, lost, those steely gray eyes held back lots of unseen emotion.
This was going to be one tough case.
Sneak Peek Part II
Revenge या Redemption
"This Way!" Revenge yelled.
I followed, ducking into a closet. My yellow/black cape swished behind me and exposed where we were.
"Tam! Ogan'!" a voice yelled.
The Russians brought their बंदूकों to भालू on the wooden door and fired. Revenge leaped in front of me, taking the shock and damage of the bullets. But fifteen AK-47s firing into his chest managed to knock him out.
The Russians busted open the door and knocked me down with a राइफल to the head. One pointed his gun at me.
"Ostan'sya vnizu malen'kaya devochka!" he yelled.
I struggled to think, the blow to my head had me in a daze.
"C'mon Barbara! Think! You're in Russia! बैटमैन taught आप this much."
After a bit of thinking, I managed to translate it into 'Stay down little girl'.
The अगला time they कहा something, it was easier to translate.
"Voz'mite ikh s losifom!"
Translation: Take them to Joseph.

Nightbird grinned and started to walk out, but Revenge stopped her. He picked something up from one of the criminals before grappling through the roof.
Nightbird opened the doors and yelled at Draxx to come collect his revenue या something before joining Revenge on the roof.
"What is it?" she asked.
Revenge pulled a red-black feather out of his utility बेल्ट and looked at it for a moment before jumping off the building and landing on his motorbike, speeding away.

Slade moved into the room. He bowed before the dark shadow. The voice spoke to him.
“You failed me Slade.”
“I know master. But she is stronger than we first expected.”
“Yes. I know. I expected as much from her. But we now have her in a dangerous position.”
“Master?”
“Shade must make her choice. She has followed the Light for seventy years. Now, she must choose whether she is willing to risk everything या to continue to play hero.”
“And if she chooses hero?”
“She won't.”
“But Master-”
“Shade thinks she is in the clear. But I have one last trick up my sleeve.”
Epilouge:

i decided to take a quick walk to get Artemis and Wally's yelling out of my head. there where little snowflakes falling and frost gathered on the ground, the harbor had a happy Christmasy feel to it, i walked द्वारा a little group of kids and they were singing.
"Dashing through the snow, in a pair of broken skis over the hills we go crashing into trees bam, bam, bam the snow is turning red i think i'm almost dead woke up in the hospital with stitches in my head" the song was odd but the kids were laughing, आप just had to smile, but then the kids went on to the सेकंड verse.
"Jingle bells, बैटमैन smells," WAIT WHAT?! my eyes widen
"Robin laid and egg," I glare and stomp up the sidewalk, but the kids are still singing
"The Bat-mobile लॉस्ट its wheel and Joker flew away HEY, jingle bells, jingle bells.........." i mutter stupid kids
