I'm struggling with this, but it's getting done! Another plot changer tomorrow/Wednesday!

Chapter 3-

"It's not fair आप get to have all the fun." होल्ली, होली कहा point blank.

"Hey, I'm not loaning आप my grapple gun." Revenge कहा from the rooftop.

"Still not fair." होल्ली, होली said.

"Ah cheer up, आप can go get a hot chocolate." Revenge said.

"I'm broke, remember?" 

"Still got AL's money?"

"Yeah but-"

"Hot चॉकलेट counts as food."

"What about you?" होल्ली, होली said, looking at the Black Hero perched on the rooftop.

"I'm fine."

"I suppose आप have some warm drink in your utility belt?"

होल्ली, होली could practically hear the grin in his voice. "Yep, freeze-dried. And it isn't hard to find water around here."

A slight drizzle began to come down. 

"Now all आप need is a mug." होल्ली, होली joked.

"Stop!" Revenge said.

"Sorry, it was a-"

"No, I mean stop walking."

होल्ली, होली stopped.

"Turn around and find the girl in the green जैकेट with black hair."

होल्ली, होली looked around. There was the girl, strolling down the street.

"Follow her, I've got your back."

होल्ली, होली turned around and followed the girl. She spotted Revenge moving at an angle to cut the girl off.

"Got your suit?" he asked.

"Yeah," होल्ली, होली replied.

 "Change, I've got this."

होल्ली, होली ducked in an alleyway and slid on her uniform. She heard screams coming from the direction the girl had been going. She slipped on her mask and ran towards the crowd. When she got there, Revenge was laying on the ground.

"Ungh," he said. He rubbed his chin. "She throws a mean punch."

"You okay?" Courage asked, helping him up.

"Yeah," Revenge said, looking at the crowd, he yelled something in Russian and everyone backed up.

"Let's go," he said, running off into the shadows.

"What'd आप tell them?" Courage asked.

"Justice League business, back off." Revenge कहा with a grin.

"Revenge to Aqualad, come in."


"Aqualad." the Atlantean said.

"Cheshires here. Not sure where she's going, but keep an eye out." Revenge said.

"Roger," Aqualad said. "She does like these sort of events."

Revenge and Courage ran down the alleyway, following Cheshire. They wound through the streets before winding up in front of an old hotel.

"Watch your back," Revenge said, pulling out his gun and attaching the disc launcher to it.

Courage nodded and pulled out a होल्ली, होली leaf from her utility belt. They stepped inside the building. Courage moved to the front desk. Papers dated 1999. 

"This place has been closed a while." she said.

She opened a drawer, nothing inside. Something caught her eye and she walked over to it. It was a glass statue of a person. 

"Down!" Revenge yelled, tackling her as a चाकू shattered the statue she'd been standing in front of a moment before. Revenge got up off होल्ली, होली and pointed his disc launcher around. Nothing.

A चाकू impaled itself in the floorboard in front of him. He looked up to see the girl they'd chased standing on the balcony of the सेकंड story. She pulled off her हुड, डाकू and removed the black wig she'd had on. Courage gasped.

"Know her?" Revenge asked, not turning his aim from the girl.

"Know?" the girl asked, walking across the balcony, Revenge keeping his aim on her. "We were practically sisters at the Shadow's training grounds."

"Take that as a yes." Revenge muttered. "Freeze." he said.

"If आप insist." the girl said, raising her hands in surrender. She dropped down and ice shards flew from the shadows behind her.

Revenge pulled up his aim and shot two shards out of the air. He moved his aim to the third one-

-but it was too late. The shard fought him in the chest, throwing him back and onto the floor.

"Red!" Courage exclaimed.

Revenge groaned and sat up on his elbows. "I learned a trick from you." he कहा to Courage, pulling the shard out of his chest. "Stab resistant armor, Crystal." Revenge said, standing up. "Give it up!"

A cold laugh rang through the air and Courage looked around cautiously.

"I'm having too much fun!" she said. "Besides-"

She jumped out of the shadows and grabbed his neck, pinning him to the wall. "I कहा I'd get to know आप better."

Courage headed his way, but Revenge stopped her. "Take care of the other!" Revenge said. 

"Still protecting your girlfriend from me?" Crystal asked, raising him a few और inches off the floor with a devilish grin. 

"She's-not my-girlfriend." Revenge choked, kicking Crystal in the stomach. Crystal dropped him, stumbling back.

Revenge brushed himself off and pulled out two knives out of his utility belt.

"Bring it." he said.

Crystal grinned and rushed him.


Courage blocked another attack द्वारा the person she had once considered a friend.

"So what do आप go द्वारा now?" the silver haired girl said.

"Courage," होल्ली, होली replied. "Because I had the courage to leave."

"You were too weak!" the former friend said, and leaped at her.

Courage sidestepped and grabbed one of the knives, slicing at the former friend. The two girls knives rang in the cold air. Courage moved in to stab in the stomach, but the girl sliced down her forehead and onto Courage's nose. Courage stumbled back, clutching the bleeding wound.

Her friend grinned deviously and ran at her again.

"Aqualad to Revenge, come in." Aqualad said. Still no response. However much he wanted, he couldn't leave now. Not while the party was going on.

"M'gann, contact Courage या Revenge, they're not answering their comms." Aqualad said.

Megan touched her head. "Nothing," she said. "They're offline and out of range."

"Go," Aqualad said. "Find them and रिपोर्ट back. Artemis, take M'gann's side."

Artemis climbed up a building and looked down. "Good to go." she said.

M'gann turned invisible and flew off.

"Ahh!" Courage exclaimed, clutching her wound. Her 'friend' had gotten a lucky shot in and sliced her arm, causing her to drop the knife. She grabbed a pipe and blocked the अगला blow.

"So what do आप go by?" she asked, swinging at the girl.

"Call me Lioness." she said.

Courage knocked her opponent to the ground with a blow to the head. "Reminiscent of Tigress?" she asked.


Revenge was backed against a wall. Crystal walked up, grinning. "Not very good in the cold, are you?"

"You're not very good with traps, are you?" Revenge replied, shooting his gun at the balcony above them. Crystal looked up just in time to see a bookshelf fall on her. Revenge walked over and lifted the किताबों की अलमारी up. He bent down to put handcuffs on Crystal, but Crystal grabbed his face and blew. Instantly, frost began to collect on the outside of his mask. As it melted, it fried his systems.

"You are cruel." Revenge said, attempting to wipe off his mask.

"Now you've got a choice." Ice Crystal said. "Mask off and fight, या mask on and defeat."

"I'll take option number three." Revenge said, shooting his grappling hook up. "Take आप to jail with my mask on." He pulled himself up about ten feet and dropped some daggers. They exploded, tossing Ice into the wall. Revenge lowered himself down and dropped. He slammed some knives into Crystal's jacket, pinning her to the wall.

"Right back at ya." he said.


होल्ली, होली looked at Revenge and back at her opponent. "Got ya." she said, pulling handcuffs out of her बेल्ट and bending down to put them on Lioness. शेरनी kicked her in the stomach and swept her legs out from under her. She hit होल्ली, होली on the head with her fist and knocked her out. She threw the dagger at Revenge, it impaled itself in his back. He turned around and pulled it out.

Crystal froze the daggers and shattered them. She grabbed Revenge's throat from behind.

"Come on," she कहा humorously. "I just want to see those blue eyes of yours again."

"Hold your breath." Revenge said, dropping a smoke bomb. Crystal let go of him, coughing. Revenge pulled out his pistol and shot discs into the बादल of smoke. द्वारा the time the smoke cleared, the two villains were nowhere to be found.

Courage groaned and sat up, rubbing her head.

"Where'd they go?" she asked.

Before Revenge could reply, M'gann's voice rang in their heads.

"Revenge? Courage?" M'gann asked.

"What?" Revenge asked.

"Are आप two okay? आप weren't answering your comms and-"

"Crystal and some other villain disguised as Cheshire lured us into a trap. They're headed to disrupt the party, go tell Aqualad, we're on our way."

"But Aqualad said-"

"I don't care what Aqualad said, go!"

M'gann flew off. Revenge walked over to Courage and helped her up.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Fine," Courage replied, taking off her mask. "Now what?"

"We invite ourselves to the party." Revenge said.

"Kid Flash, checking in." Wally said.

"Artemis, checking in." Artemis said.

The rest of the Team checked in.

"All clear," Aqualad said.

"Re-checking in," Artemis कहा from her rooftop. "Courage and Revenge are in the crowd in civvies."

"Kaldur!" M'gann's voice rang through the Atlantean's head.

"Yes?"

"Courage and Revenge कहा that Crystal and another villain disguised as Cheshire are coming to the Banquet." 

"Team, tighten security." Aqualad कहा over the comm.

"Red to AL, we're in the crowd." Revenge's voice rang over the comm unit.

"Roger, Artemis spotted you." Aqualad said. "Stay alert."

"Like आप needed to tell us." Revenge said.

"Scanning area with infrared." Wally said. "Two people in the woods."

"Roger, Robin, Wally, Miss Martian, take them out. Artemis, remain on the roof. The rest of us will stay in the crowd." Aqualad said.

The Boy Wonder, Young Speedster and Martian stealthily approached the woods. As soon as they got close, a branch fell on Robin, pinning is legs. While Megan tried to free him, someone knocked her out.

Wally, for once was left unsure of what had happened. He looked around, no one was there.

He heard it coming a सेकंड before it hit him. Wally turned in time to see Crystal hit him with the rocket launcher.

"Wally?" Artemis asked.

"M'gann? Robin?" Aqualad asked.

"They're down near the woods." Revenge reported. 

"Code Red!" Aqualad said, taking his जैकेट off and unsheathing his weapons. He raised a shield right as a rocket flew out of the woods at the crowd.

Utter chaos ensued as Aqualad's shield began to fail.

Revenge ripped off his suit and tie सुपरमैन style to reveal his costume underneath. He slipped on his mask and cape as did Holly. The two rushed to शामिल होइए Aqualad at the shield.

Revenge pulled out his pistol and switched on the dagger launcher. Courage pulled out her small pistol.

"Inside! Everyone!" Artemis yelled, holding open the door and shooting arrows as Aqualad's shield collapsed totally.

Without hesitating, the three हीरोस rushed out onto the damp field to engage the villains.

Aqualad shot bursts of water at the assassins, who were still hidden in the woods, while Courage and Revenge shot discs and daggers at them.

The damp field suddenly turned to ice, causing the हीरोस to slip and fall.

Crystal and शेरनी exited their hiding place and fired rockets at the building the party was taking place. 

Aqualad swung his leg, knocking शेरनी down. Revenge leaped at Crystal, tackling her and causing her rocket to go wild. 

Crystal rolled over and kicked Revenge off. Revenge threw a few daggers filled with knock-out gas at her, but she froze them before they could detonate. Revenge pulled another dagger out of his sheath, but Crystal touched his hand, encasing it in ice.

"Maybe another time, hero." she said, throwing a few grenades at the group of heroes.

शेरनी swatted at Aqualad one last time and flipped back, running with Crystal.

"Grenades!" Revenge warned, kicking one away with his foot. होल्ली, होली and Aqualad threw theirs away and watched the explosion mask the villains retreat.

Revenge cracked the ice around his hand and threw his dagger into the ice bitterly.
