After I warned the gods that Gaia tried to take over my body द्वारा influencing my actions, the team and I all headed home. When we got their, बैटमैन was waiting for us. Skatá! I totally forgot about him! I gave Robin an ‘I’ll handle this’ look.
“Batman, I am sorry that I disobeyed direct orders, but that was no mortal crying. That was the virginal goddess of the moon and hunt, Artemis. She is my patron goddess. She is also the one who convinced the other gods to give me their blood because she knew I was strong. It is not the rest of the teams’ fault that they left. It was my fault. I will take any consequence आप see fit to give me” I finished
Then he did something not even the fates could have predicted: he hugged me. I punched him in the stomach.
“Hey?! What was that for?!” he demanded
“Sorry, I thought some sort of alien took control of your mind, making आप hug me” I apologized
He sighed “Sarah, your punishment is facing me in unarmed combat” बैटमैन declared
“Really? This’ll be easy!” I said
We got in our positions. I bluff rushed बैटमैन then when I got to him did a flip and I was behind him. As he turned around, his left arm lifted slightly and I jabbed a pressure point to make his arm go numb. He tried to do a right jab, but I hit a different pressure point and made that arm go numb to. I flipped over him again and took out both his legs with a series pressure points.
“Batman? Status: fail” The computerized voice sounded as confused as everyone else looked
I walked over to him and used a series of countering pressure points to un numb his limbs then helped him up.
“Told you” I कहा simply as I walked towards my room. I lay on my बिस्तर for a while then took a long, hot shower. I dried off then changed into some jean shorts and a tee shirt. The one I was wearing before was stained with blood from my little fight in the Underworld. I still had the cut so I had to be careful not to laugh too much.
*knock, knock, knock*”Sarah” * Knock, knock, knock* “Sarah” *Knock, knock, knock* “Sarah” Robins voice came from the other side of the door.
I opened the door. “Yes, Robin?” I asked
“You know how I कहा I wanted to give आप something? Well, here it is” He presented. He gave me a small parcel wrapped in plain purple paper. I took off the paper and opened the box to find…a pair of silver earrings shaped like tiny bows and arrows.
“Also, this is for आप too” He said, reaching under his shirt. He pulled out the yin half of the yin and yang हार “You कहा give it to the girl of my dreams, so I just did” I gave him a huge hug then kissed him.
