I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Yoo Ah In's bone tumor not malignant but benign | allkpop.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Yoo Ah In\'s label clarified gossip that he was sick.
DongA.com, "It\'s true he has a bone tumor, but it\'s benign, not malignant. There won\'t be any effect on his everyday life. We just have to watch how it is. We never said he was sick, so we don\'t know where that started. His health is fine. It\'s not so serious that he\'s sick or that he needs to get treatment. We hope there aren\'t any misunderstanding through exaggerations. We\'re just burdened that family or friends would see and get worried."

The label added, "He also did have a fracture, but that\'s separate from his tumor. They\'re not even related. We\'re confirming that there are no big problems to his health. Yoo Ah In was classified as needing a re-examination [for enlistment], so we\'re waiting for the next examination. We\'re only following the procedure. We hope people stop overexaggerating or misinterpreting."
Didn\'t they say in the first place that it was benign. I\'m glad it is though, get better
To be honest, it\'s not a huge surprise that he was diagnosed with such a condition. I know it sounds really horrible, but considering that he has a long history of smoking, he probably would\'ve gotten ill with something like this sooner or later, but it\'s really unfortunate that he got it so young. I wish him the best of luck with recovery and hope that he can quit smoking for the sake of his own health!
Lol Smoking isnt even one of the possible causes for benign bone cancer or even related >_> Smoking usually causes Lung cancer which if it spreads to the bone, the person wouldnt even last a year.
I think you\'re confusing the bone tumor with cancer. Tumor does not always mean cancer, especially when the tumor is benign. A benign tumor is a tissue formation in the body without any physiological function. Smoking can cause at least 14 types of cancer. Leukaemia is one of them but again, that\'s a type of cancer not a tumor.
If this was found during his pre-enlistment medical exam people have no reason to ride him for it.
At least its benign. But he should get rid of it anyhow. It\'s better to be safe and healthy.
Get Well Soon! Hope you can serve your country so that netizens won\'t have anything to complain!
He\'s really lucky that his tumor is benign and that they found it when they did.
