It’s raining. Not like a hard rain या anything. Parker makes his way downy the highway with determination and a degree of speed that might not be exactly legal. But he isn’t going alarmingly fast. He maneuvers his car–a rather stylish Dodge Viper–into the fast lane. It isn’t the latest model but he has it painted a sleek purple some shade in between light and dark. After successfully making his pass he get back into the right lane. He’s behind a Chrysler Pacifica with a collect of bumper and window stickers.
From this he deduces that the driver is probably a सॉकर mom या an unfortunate son who is stuck using the car. He knows that the dad is still in the picture, helping to raise three kids–a teen boy, a young girl, and a baby girl. They have a dog. Based on the bumper sticker in the left hand corner it’s a shih tzu. He likes shih tzus well enough, but prefers bigger dogs--maybe a pit या a huskie.
Parker turns the volume up. Lil Peep's U कहा plays nearly at full blast. He knows that he's probably annoying other drivers with the overload of bass. But he can't help it, other than the rain, its a nice day. The warmth and the gloom almost matches the mood of the song. He rolls the window down. He's about to take the volume up another level but he doesn't quite get that far.
He reads the bumper sticker as he pumps his breaks; 'if आप can read this, you're too close.'
The संगीत seems to blare louder, और vividly.
'If आप can read this, you're too close.'
He tries pumping the breaks again but they won't engage. The अंतरिक्ष between his नाग, सांप and the Pacifica closes.
'If आप can read this you're too close.'
"Motherfuck! I know." He yells. He remembers the emergency break a little too late.
He catches a glimpse of the bumper sticker once और before his fender comes to meet it.
'If आप can read this, you're too close.'
He can read it alright. He can read it very clearly.

There’s the shadow of a plane
The sound of an engine,
Flying in the rain.
Please, take me away.
Raise my hands to
Touch the sky.
Wish I could fly to the moon,
Maybe tonight.
Feet glued to the street,
I just have to
Reach.
Hey,
Hey, I just heard a plane
Fly over my place
Please, say that magic word
And take me far away?
This is just a short poem, inspired द्वारा Erin McCarley's song, "Bobble Head". I find working from songs a good way to cure my writer's block. It gives me a little push in the right direction. So if you're having trouble, try that :)

I don't believe you.
I really don't
After all these years
This is what आप give me?
Why did आप break up with me?
I don't understand.
आप were so close with me
And then that tech freak came by
And आप left me.
आप abandoned me.
Why did आप dump me?
Such a close friend of mine.
Laughing with me all these years
Crying with me.
Now, आप leave me.
Why?
I don't understand anything that happened.
Why can't happy things happen
In this world?
Why do things have to be so sad?
I can't accept that it happened.
Because I am still a close friend
Of yours
But I can't accept the facts.
I just can't.
