Full of excitement, Nicole and Ellie arrived at the fairground. They walked through the towering gates, expecting laughter and chatter – but everything remained quiet. No music, no noise, nothing! The place was deserted. A strong gust of wind blew, making them shiver. As they walked on, it began to get darker. Gradually, the sky turned from a bright blue to black. One द्वारा one the lights of the fairground flickered on, illuminating the black sky. As they passed द्वारा The Haunted Mine, it seemed to be inviting them to have a go. A man clad completely in black was waiting beside the entrance.

“Can we have a go, please?” Ellie asked him, fishing around in her pocket for their tokens. His eyes fixed her with a cold stare. A thin, bony hand reached out and grabbed the two tokens from her hand.
“Front cart” barked the man.
Ellie looked unsure but Nicole pulled her over to the flaking, brown cart. They clambered in and pulled the safety bar down.
Without warning, their गाड़ी rattled and rocked before speeding off through the tunnel. The two girls were having a good time until their गाड़ी abruptly stopped. At first they thought it was part of the ride but later realized it wasn’t. Ellie started shrieking whilst Nicole tried to lift the bar. Despite her frenzied attempt, it stayed firmly in place. She kept trying but only succeeded in tipping their cart.

After struggling on the ground, the bar flew up. The girls scrambled to their feet, looking around.
“If we walk on, we’re bound to come to an exit” कहा Nicole, trying to sound reassuring.
“Ok” replied Ellie, nodding.
What they didn’t realise was that they were actually walking downhill. Suddenly, a loud bang made them jump.
“I think we’re going the wrong way” Ellie began, looking at her feet.
The track had disappeared.
“Where’s the track gone?” Nicole asked her but Ellie didn’t have the faintest clue.

“I think we should walk back” Nicole decided at last.
Slowly, they began heading back the way they came, certain that they would see the track. It seemed never ending! At last they came to the path that they’d come down, but they got a shock. As they’d been walking, Ellie had tripped over what appeared to be a thin wire. And now a gate had appeared, blocking their way!
“Where did that come from?” Ellie asked, terrified.
“I don’t know, but we need to get out of here” replied Nicole.
“How though?” continued Ellie “There’s no other exit, well, I haven’t seen one, anyway.”
“There has to be!” Nicole replied, determinedly.

The girls walked back, thinking hard. Ellie glanced at her watch. It was half past nine. They’d been trapped for around half an घंटा and were meant to be घर for quarter past ten.
“We need to get out of here and go home” Ellie told Nicole, who agreed.
Both of them racked their brains. Five मिनटों past; nothing, ten minutes; still nothing.
“I’m fed up!” Nicole burst out “I don’t know where we are या what we’re doing here. But I’m getting out of here!”
“How do आप plan on doing that?” Ellie asked her.
Nicole just shrugged her shoulders and marched off, arms folded across her chest.
“Wait!” Ellie shouted after her, but Nicole ignored her.

All of a sudden, there was a scream. Nicole’s scream! Ellie knew that she had to save her friend but fear for her own safety stopped her. Summoning all of her courage, she hurried after Nicole, trying to calm herself. Ellie had the feeling that someone was watching her. This made her panic. When she turned a corner, a woman stood before her.

The woman had chalk-white skin, deep red lips painted even darker with lipstick and green eyes which appeared to be glowing. She was dressed all in black (like the man at the entrance) but she had fingernails as long as daggers which were painted the same crimson colour as her lips. The glowing green eyes fixed her with a piercing stare. That was when Ellie saw Nicole. She looked the same as normal except that she was completely motionless and her eyes were closed.

Ellie’s दिल thumped uncontrollably against her rib cage. Without thinking, she pushed past the woman and shook Nicole. Her eyes flickered slightly but she remained as still as a statue and as cold as stone.
“What have आप done to her?” Ellie demanded furiously, forgetting about her own safety.
“Nothing” replied the woman, trying to sound innocent
Ellie didn’t believe her. She turned to face Nicole but caught a glimpse of the woman’s hand hovering above her in the dim light. Ellie ducked and pushed the woman hard. Since she wasn’t expecting it, the woman fell backwards and banged her head against the wall. Immediately, she was knocked unconscious.

Instantly, Nicole came out of her trance. She grabbed Ellie’s arm.
“Hurry up!” she कहा “Or that woman will catch us.”
The girls ran as fast as they could until they were out in the open. The man had gone now, but the girls still felt uneasy. Looking around, Nicole and Ellie headed for the fairground gates. When they reached them they got a shock. They wouldn’t open but there were no chains या padlocks.
“How can we get home?” asked Ellie, pushing at the gates.
“I don’t know” replied Nicole “But I don’t think that man left, he was watching us, and somehow locked the gates before we got here.”

After what seemed like an eternity, the gate swung open, after a lot of pushing and ramming themselves at them - but the ghostly man and woman were heading their way. “Hurry up!” urged Nicole, running up the road.
Ellie followed her but suddenly tripped and twisted her ankle. The man and woman were gaining on them. As Ellie got to her feet, a bony hand grabbed her wrist. It was the woman! The man caught up with her and opened his cloak. He took it off and dropped over Ellie’s head, making Ellie feel dizzy and disoriented.
“Help” she shrieked from inside the बरसती, लबादा but the man and woman were dragging her back to The Haunted Mine.
Nicole ran away as fast as she could, feeling guilty that Ellie had saved her and she couldn’t return the favour. But how could she risk her own life?

The अगला morning, Nicole returned to the fairground with her and Ellie’s parents.
When they reached the fairground gates there were lots of chains and padlocks and a big sign saying CLOSED. They looked inside but there was nothing there, only a big, empty field.

In the years to follow, there was absolutely no trace of Ellie या the mysterious couple. The police had no leads in their खोजिए and eventually had to give up.

Even now that she was a grown woman with two children of her own and a loving husband, Nicole cannot forgive herself for not saving her best friend that night. In her waking hours and in her nightmares, she remembers Ellie screaming for help and her running for help. She was her friend’s last hope and she ran away like a coward. She will never forgive herself and she will never, ever forget. The memory haunts her and follows her like a shadow. She will never be free of the guilt. One way या another, she’s responsible for her friend’s death या at best disappearance.

Chapter [#2]

Narrators POV

An old man in a बरसती, लबादा walked into the neighborhood in which Olivia lived. Everyone stared at him as he walked around.

Olivia's POV

I smiled brightly as I dived into the ocean, "wait up!!!" Oliver laughed as my five brothers ran after me with surfboards, buggy boards, buckets for picking up sea shells, and dad brought out our special maid sandcastle buckets. They were big and made the best structures ever!!! Plus our family is known for our sand castles/structures. I smiled and dived down, feeling the salty cold water against my skin, it's the best feeling ever. When...

I walked for so long, looking for something, not knowing what that someone thing actually was. The sky bleeding with an नारंगी, ऑरेंज sunset as the sun moved ever so slowly below the horizon. I stopped in my tracks ans stared for a moment, than went back to searching for my mystery object. This was a great time to take in the woods which have always scared me. It wasn't bad walking through them. everything was नारंगी, ऑरेंज from the ending of summer. It was like walking in those stories आप always hear about. Just then, a soft rustle in the bushes interrupted my thoughts. Not knowing...

Chapter One

My alarm went off at 7:00 on the morning February 8th, 2017. I reluctantly sat up on the edge of my बिस्तर and yawned.

"Morning." I heard a voice say. My eyes were still closed.

"Luna?" I mumble. "That you?"

"Yep." I open my eyes to see Luna Middleton standing three feet diagonal from me.

I shared a room with her, her twin sister Kyla, and my brother Jacob. That's how everyone does here. आप live with your twin and your SIDA partner.

"So, sleepy head." she smirked. "You gonna get up या what? If not, I'll eat your breakfast for you."

I don't reply and shake my head.

"Oh, come on!" Luna...

Prologue
The wind was howling like भेड़िया in the night, and Will sat shivering in his post. The बुर्ज on which he sat overlooked a tall rock ledge that sloped into the ocean.
“Why do I get this bloody post.” he कहा to himself. The air was so cold up there that it sank right into your bones. Even though Will had dressed as warmly as he could with a thick woolen cloak, he could still feel the icy fingers creeping up his back. The आग in the brazier barely helped either.
“Nothing as always.” he कहा as he looked out to the edge of the sea. He had taken to talking to himself when he...

Chapter 2

I pull into the driveway of the cafe. I look into my rear view mirror. I look good. (Laugh) I get out of the car then fix my clothes. I'm ready. Just be yourself. Ok. I'm walking in. Don't fall. Don't fall .. He sees me. Just walk up to him.

"Hey."
"Hey. Glad आप could make it." कहा Lucas

Chapter Five

Mason met Olivia at his प्रिय restaurant. It was a perfect दिन for a रात का खाना date. The sun was shinny, the clouds were extra white, and the घास seemed greener then ever. If only she knew that this was a रात का खाना date. He signed the last autograph for today as Olivia sat across from him at their round table. Her hair was curly and in a ponytail. Then she wore a red dress with a thick, black बेल्ट in the middle. His सेकंड impression of her was still the same, gorgeous. This तारीख, दिनांक was going pretty well but Cassidy dresses better. Mainly because Cassidy is rich but he didn't want to...

Chapter Four

Olivia was extra busy today. Today was the first दिन of the movie shoot for Hourglass. Before they could even start recording the movie, the would have to check up on everything. The wardrobe had to perfect. The scenes had to be accurately planned out. Then they had to make sure that all of the camera crew was positioned. Olivia wouldn't be able to receive the permits until tomorrow. So they couldn't start filming until then. She followed closely behind Mason as he did the daily check up.

Mason went straight towards wardrobe and the outfit choices. The outfit for Charlotte's arrival...

Remembering is just an invention of the mind,
So आप need not try to remember something,
आप remember it automatically.
Which is the best thing that आप could have.

The good times that we had...
It is placed in a portion of your mind.
The bad times that we had...
It is placed in the other part of your mind.

आप try to forget all of the bad things that happened,
But it is not possible.
It is stuck in you.
The bad things are painted in ink on your heart.

The good things, आप try to remember.
And they stay.
They never go.
Never leave you.

Remembering is just an invention of the mind.
And, well...I guess I'm happy for that.
So I can remember every friend I've had,
Every boyfriend,
And all the good times.
Every memory will never leave my heart.
They will never be forsaken.
Never.

*Poem I wrote for a class project on the holocaust.
DON'T COPY*
Different in ways they couldn't control
Killed for reasons we do not know
Ranging from ages young to old
The innocent people were taken from homes
Soulless people did not care
That the Jewish were in despair
Concentration camps ending their screams
Breaking apart their families
Not once did they do anything wrong
They opened their mouths and sang a sad song
Years went द्वारा and और pain came
Until on one very special day
As one we all saved
The survivors of the Holocaust
Stan, the young donkey, was wandering sadly around the barn. He seemed hopeless and wounded and had no desire to speak to any of his fellow donkeys; even talking to his father was not appealing to him that exact moment. In fact, he was feeling ashamed of having a donkey father. He was ashamed of being a donkey altogether.
As the moon and stars scattered across the dark, blue sky, Stan decided he no longer to wander. He needed some solution, he needed reassurance, and only his grandfather seemed appropriate for that particular job.
Grandpa Roger was sleeping peacefully in the barn. He had become...

Bane’s POV

I laid in the grass, watching the clouds. I was beginning to dose off, right before sleep took me, a body pounced on me. I groaned, and looked up. A shaggy haired boy was sitting on my chest, giggling. My best friend, Christian.
“Get off!” I yelled rolling over. He slid off me.
“Party pooper,” Christian stuck his tongue out at me. He was so childlike, but that was something I had always loved about him. That’s also why we got along so well. He was hyperactive and loud, while I was cynical and quite.

Jason Card sat at his डेस्क in his science classroom bored out of his mind. He hated science. It was his least प्रिय subject. Mainly because it was the last subject of the दिन and द्वारा that time Jason was usually ready to go home.
Mr. Form droned on and on about chemicals या something. Jason didn’t listen. He just sat at his डेस्क and drew on some paper. He was a very good drawer.
Jason Card was a fourteen साल old as of yesterday. His black messy hair never gave in to a brush which usually meant it was mangled and messy and went down to his ears. He was wearing a simple red t-shirt...

How to Add Emotion to a Story

1.    Understand कीवर्ड्स या Key Phrases. Key Phrases are phrases in a story that triggers the waterworks. They are sentences that make people cry. Such as, a pet dies. आप could write, "Goodbye, Old friend." A Key Phrase could also be an action. Such as, there are two pets. One pet dies. The other pet tries to sleep with the other one द्वारा cuddling up to the dead body.

2.    Add a lot of relationship between the one who dies and another character, whether that is a human या an animal.

3.    Add comedy to the...

*Sigh* Okay, this is the first piece of लेखन I will ever share with anyone. Rarely does the idea of a poem ever enter my dark mind. But tonight, just two मिनटों ago, this one came to me, and I had to...write...it...down...

I’m aching here
I’m bleeding there

Pain strikes within
My every move

And there’s
Nothing
I Can
Do
To Make It
Stop

The tears roll down my face
And freeze there quickly
And stay until the time comes
Where they are no longer frozen
And begin to stream down again

My hurt was bottled up
But someone broke the bottle
And now it’s
Everywhere
And there’s nothing
I Can
Do
To Heal Myself

I’m...
