-The अगला Day-
I peeked from behind the left corner of the school and saw Cameron carrying Mercury's book towards the school entrance. Perfect. I turned to Zoey and Francine, who were right behind me. "I'm ready. How do I look ?" I had on the outfit Francine picked out for me and the makeup Zoey put on me yesterday. My hair was in a french braid, courtesy of Zoey's mom.
"Beautiful", कहा Francine.
"I'm jealous", कहा Zoey.
"Thanks." I turned back to look at Cameron, who had probably forgot something because he was walking back to his car. "Wish me luck." I rushed towards Cameron. "Hey."
"Hey." He did a double take. "What happened to you?"
"Just trying a different look. Now that we're now dating anymore-"
"About that", Cameron began.
"Yeah?" My face lit up.
"Cameron!" Mercury came over to us. My face dimmed. "Did आप get my-" She looked me up and down. "I see someone's trying the slutty look." She smiled an evil smile.
She's one to talk. I examined her गुलाबी mini-skirt and गुलाबी baby tee.
"Mercury!" Cameron looked at me apologetically. "Let's go." He and Mercury left.
I went back over to Francine and Zoey.
"How'd it go", they asked in unison.
"Let's just go inside." I turned to walk towards the entrance of the school. "I'm freezing my नितंब, गधा off out here."
-Later That Day-
After returning home, I told Grandma I was going for a bike ride. Though it didn't matter since Gram wasn't speaking to me.
I rode my bike through town and noticed the moon. Full. I then rode into the swamp, unexpectedly of course. My nails turned to claws, my skin turned pale green, my outfit turned into a white gown, my hair turned into seaweed. My bike hit a loose पेड़ root and I went flying into the mucky, swamp water. "Gross!" I got up. The water was up to my knees. The pond was right below the moon.
All of a sudden the water began glowing. It
want a lighter shade of pale green, almost white. The water began bubbling. I looked around to see who was causing this. Then I saw it. The thing that turned my life into crap.
The sea witch that scratched me.
I tried to run to her, but the water was too thick. Then I felt a wave push me toward her. Am I doing that? Once I got close enough,
I touched her shoulder.
She quickly turned to face me, her eyes glowing red, and hissed at me.
I screamed and fell into the water. When I got back up, she was gone. The water turned back to normal. "Where did she go?" I managed to get out of the pond and made it back to my bike. I started walking back out of the swamp. Then something struck me in the back of the head. I blacked out.
When I woke up, I was tied up in a chair. I looked around and saw I was in a log cabin. The आग in the fireplace was making the केबिन warm. So warm that began to sweat. I slipped out of the ropes and got up. I began walking to the door.
"Where are आप going?"
I turned and saw the sea witch standing द्वारा an old stove. "You." I walked up to her. "You did this to me!"
"What are आप talking about?" She was cooking something in the oven.
"You turned me into a sea witch! Remember, I was the girl with the camera. आप scratched me!"
She frowned. "Oh yeah, sorry about that."
"Sorry? You're sorry?" I was in disbelief.
"Yes. आप were in my personal अंतरिक्ष and I got angry." She took some meat out of the oven. "Are आप hungry?"
"No." I walked back to the door.
"Stay!" Her voice was different. It was low and growl-y. She grabbed my shoulders and dragged me to the little wooden तालिका, टेबल in the corner of house. "Eat!" She went to get a plate of meat and set it before me. "Eat!"
I took a tiny piece of meat and ate. I gasped. "It taste like a cream cheese and जेली bagel!"

Remembering is just an invention of the mind,
So आप need not try to remember something,
आप remember it automatically.
Which is the best thing that आप could have.
The good times that we had...
It is placed in a portion of your mind.
The bad times that we had...
It is placed in the other part of your mind.
आप try to forget all of the bad things that happened,
But it is not possible.
It is stuck in you.
The bad things are painted in ink on your heart.
The good things, आप try to remember.
And they stay.
They never go.
Never leave you.
Remembering is just an invention of the mind.
And, well...I guess I'm happy for that.
So I can remember every friend I've had,
Every boyfriend,
And all the good times.
Every memory will never leave my heart.
They will never be forsaken.
Never.
So आप need not try to remember something,
आप remember it automatically.
Which is the best thing that आप could have.

Different in ways they couldn't control
Killed for reasons we do not know
Ranging from ages young to old
The innocent people were taken from homes
Soulless people did not care
That the Jewish were in despair
Concentration camps ending their screams
Breaking apart their families
Not once did they do anything wrong
They opened their mouths and sang a sad song
Years went द्वारा and और pain came
Until on one very special day
As one we all saved
The survivors of the Holocaust

Me and Those
Ever noticed that in this life
Everyone wants आप to do something,
या be something
That sometimes आप don’t want to be?
They are those!
आप know them!
आप probably have those in your house.
They are those who expect आप to take a path,
Even though,
Sometimes,
आप don’t want to take.
They are those who expect आप to be great,
Even though,
Sometimes,
आप prefer to be small and humble.
But do आप think,
For the slightest second,
That they care about that?
They don’t!
They are your parents,
Your grandparents,
Your Uncles and aunts,
That since आप were born,
Came up with a path for आप in life.
But know this,
And say it to yourself:
They are those, they matter,
But me is I,
And I’m the main character.
Sitting right where आप are
आप have no claim on me
I know my own path
I am my own guide
आप are nothing to me
No matter how आप try
What do आप care?
If I'm not doing it right
I'm not following you
I know my own path
I am my own guide
आप don't know me
No matter how आप try
Why are आप here?
आप know I don't want you
I told आप to leave me
I am my own path
I know my own guide
आप can't mold me
No matter how आप try
Why do I feel compelled to write angsty poetry? I swear I'm not even that angsty. लोल Oh well, I hope someone out there enjoys it.
A whisper in the cavern that goes unheard,
and a glimmer in the sky that stays unnoticed,
like the start of a brand new life, at the peak
of a mountain never scaled, lies in wait.
It can't be moved द्वारा any cosmic mover,
so no passing wind या fog will douse it.
Only your eyes can scratch out the image
या accept it, the light at the edge of your eyes.
Will आप take hold of the key you're offered?
Stop गाना of freedom; seek it instead?
To become a companion of the new
takes an ever expanding, soaring gaze.
But even द्वारा taking one step forward,
द्वारा placing one hand onto the mountain,
as the wind tugs gently at your back,
आप will realize the cage has already been broken.
