The chair turned, and Gaara stared at me with his sea green, pupiless eyes. I stared back and grinned, Akkikouhi whispering that she wanted to eat him, but I कहा no. That would give me even और bad reputation than necessary. I licked my lower lip and gave Gaara a grinning glared from under my eyelashes. He squinted at me and stood, walking towards me.

"Gaara.... Been a while." I snickered.

"I don't suppose आप came back for this...?" Gaara mumbled, digging around in his cloak, and pulling out my old, green scarf I used to wear when I lived in the Sand.

Gaara didn't say anything, just took my shoulder and walked down the stairs with me. I shuddered. His hand was just as cold as it was before... I twitched my ear, and watched him out of the corner of my eye...

I looked around the desert, heat looking like it was dancing out of the ground. I took the towel I had pasted to my forehead off and ringed it out, sweat pouring out of it.

"I'm not really used to this... being from the forest where its nice and cool and all....." I growled.

Toxyk smiled a bit, trudging along in the sand. After a little while, we saw the gates of the Sunagakure.

"OH YES! ITS BEAUTIFUL! SHADE!" Bam shouted, running to the gate, a long trail of dust behind him.

I shook my head as we approached the guards. Damned humans. They always have to have walls.

Wandering through the desert, I picked my boots up high. I looked at the bright blue sky, the sun beating down on me with heat waves. A drop of sweat ran down my nose as I shook my head.

"Toxyk-niisama... how much longer?" I choked.
