(Bella's POV)

'Hey Edward" I कहा as I walked towards the car parked outside my house. He just had to pick me up every morning, didn't he. "You know, I do have a car," i suggested jokingly. I knew what he would say
'Bella, with the bad luck that आप have, I'm amazed that आप can even get out of bed!"
We both smiled at this and luaghed togeather, as I hopped into the car and made it though another boring school day.

(Lunch)

"Bella!" Alice said. She came over and hugegd me,"
I laughed awkwardly as I tried to free myself from her grasp. "Alice,it's only been two days," I complianed.
She laughed and relieased her grip. "Come on, you're so slow," she complained as she grabbed my arm and dragged me to the तालिका, टेबल where the rest of the Cullens were sitting.
"Nice, Alice," Edward कहा with acid in his voice.
She widened her eyes in false inncoence. 'What did I do?"
We all laughed. Nothing strange had happened. Why did everything have to be so boring.
Alice gasped then. Her face was blank. She started whimpering as well. Edward's eyes widened in shock.
"Oh no, no, no that can't happen." he gasped. "no, no..." his voice trailed off, still gasping. Emmett and Jasper exchanged a wide-eyed look.
"Alice," Jasper asked warliy,"what did आप see?"
She replied too quickly. "It was nothing, its was too blurry too make out anything,"
"Edward didn't seem to think so," Emmett joined in
Suddenly Edwards eyes changed from liquid to solid, and his jaw tensed. "Bella, come for a walk,"
Alice started to say something, but he shot her a look that made her shut her mouth.
"Bella?" He grabbed me द्वारा the wrist and yanked me out of the chair, towing me accross the cafetirea.
I was suspicuos. This behavoiur wasn't like edward. "Edward," I protested, "let me go. I want to go back."
I let out a whimper as his wrist tightened, crushing some बोन्स in mine. I felt the Cullens stares on my back. "Edward," I protested again. His eyes norrowed and he moved faster in his rush to get me out. As soon as we were out of the cafeteria and no one could see us, he grabbed me and ran into the forest.
I didn't know where we were, but I reconginised the look on his face. It was the same one that James had worn when he found me in the ballet studio.
Edward sank into a crouch, snarling at me. He sprung and pushed me into a tree, his hand going though my shoulder. I was too frightened to speak. I knew that he had crushed the bone. He snarled again, and ran his teeth lightly up and down my neck, before throing me accross the clearing. I landed on the ground, and he lifted up my leg, breaking my shin bone. I screamed, looking at the wild-eyed look on his face, and he moved his teeth into my neck.
