Ughhhh. I will never understand why people are so insistent that this is a good song for LP...

^ Yeah... I think it fits the BLP triangle, but not really LP alone. I think people mainly tend to think of LP, just because of the fact that this song actually played during one of their break up scenes. But I agree, the lyrics themselves are more BL!

yea im with holly. this is completley BRUCAS. the anyone not bias who actually understand the lyrics and has a brain can say so, its more BL than pretty much any couple in the option, but esepcially LP.

I don't know why people have to fight for everything. I'm sorry but this FOR ME is an LP song. It was played during the break up and it represents how they were feeling in that terrible moment. It's like I state that For Blue Skies is an LP song because the lyrics can apply to them. It was played for BL so it's a BL song. Just like More than anyone is a Naley song. That's how I see it.

Lucas was impulsive and didn't know how Peyton would react to the proposal. Peyton told him someday but [as the song says] he wanted all or nothing.

When Peyton said someday he was thinking what he should do and stayed up all night reflecting. He thought Peyton didn't love him enough, and that she said no. He left and this "ended their story". He listened to his insecurities and the "voices" in his head rather than too the feelings in his heart.

Even when he went to NY and talked to Brooke he said multiple times: "I feel lost Brooke. But you have been so strong, and so good to me, when I’ve strayed from us. So I’m going to try to let go of it" He couldn't handle imagine Peyton with someone else.

The way I see it. Lucas ended things with Brooke because they didn't have a love like Whitey's "a love so strong that no person can come between us". Hence it was black or white, right or wrong. The other part is pretty self explainatory. Peyton didn't want to lose Lucas and she FOUGHT for him. She went back to Tree Hill and even Lucas was still in love with her. Infact the moment Peyton arrived in town his relationship with Lindsey lost it's solid grounds and Lucas didn't know what to do.

This paragraph is straight forward. Lucas called Peyton after months have passed from the break-up and she still responded. She choose Lucas over Nathan in S1, over Jake in S3 & over Julian in S5/S6. For Lucas she felt a strong love and her feelings for him were ultimately the reason the other relationship failed.

Sorry for the long rant but I honestly don't know where people don't see this is an LP song.
