Chapter 2
    Evil takes true form
    So right now I’m talking to my best friend, Beth, as were walking to our class. As we were talking Grey Callister interrupted us.
    With his flawless gold-blonde hair and warm brown eyes, it isn’t a surprise he’s wanted द्वारा most girls. I hate to admit when I first laid eyes on him, my legs turned jello and I didn’t want to look away, but later on I realized he was a conceited jerk.
    So it isn’t surprising that Grey is one of the most hottest and लोकप्रिय (ugh) guys in school, nor that he’s also a huge jerk. Tsk, tsk, tsk, aren’t they all. He’s not my type though, hot he may be, I’m kind of infatuated with another hottie (who doesn’t know of my existence), आप already know *wink*.
    Although the two boys have no resemblance whatsoever, thank God there not related, there just close friends. Which is why I don’t mind when he bothers us, but Cal isn’t with him this time.
    There’s something else about Grey though, that only I know…and Grey of course, but he doesn’t know that I know.
    Drum roll please….and my vomit bucket.
    Grey has the hots for Beth, like…he’s obsessed with her, I bet he has a shrine of her in his room. He likes her a whole lotta, like in the way I like Cal. But Beth and the whole population of this darn school has no clue, but how can they not. He is so obvious, here’s some clues.
    1. The way he looks at her.
    2. He always finds a reason to be near to her या talk to her.
    3. He may look mean या rude, but his tone changes when he talks to her.
    Those are the clues, but I think I also know the दिन he started to take an interest in her. आप see Beth never gets angry, she’s always calm and collected. But one day, Grey managed to push her over the edge…
    It was a hot, hot, HOT दिन of school, which is a bit rare for us, there’s usually this cool wind. It was a Friday, on school of course, and the gals and I were getting ready to leave. My gals and I were in tank tops and shorts (which is better than what half the female population wear) as we walked to Beth’s car.
    And something was different (oh आप couldn’t miss it!)! Some jerks trashed Beth’s car, it was ruined! The windows were smashed, the wheels were flat, and graffiti and eggs were splattered all over.
    We heard laughing behind us, and we all turned around to see Grey and his cronies doubled over in laughter.
    “You drive that!” Grey yelled and his फ्रेंड्स laughed harder.
    Beth made an angry noise in her throat and stalked towards them, the gals and I shared a quick look before hurrying to catch up. Beth never gets angry, well she does, but she never gets really angry, she usually shakes it off and ignores their taunting laughter.
    But not today.
    “You! आप did this!” Beth yelled pointing at Grey, standing in front of him.
    Grey shrugged. “Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.”
    She stepped up closer to him, and I swear I heard the personal अंतरिक्ष bubble go pop. “You are going to fix that!”
    “Oh really,” Grey said, something glinting in his eyes. “Why would I do that?”
    “You are such a-”
    “Jerk!” Ali cut in.
    “You will pay for all the damage, and if आप don’t so help me god, I will-”
    “You’ll what?” Grey asked, stepping closer to her, so close, that their noses were touching.
    It caught Beth off guard, but she quickly regained. “I’ll tell your parents about the parties you’ve been throwing for the past weeks!”
    A gasp among all of us, except Grey who looks और impressed than shocked. “You’d do that?”
    “Yes, I would.” Beth promised. “And so much more, if आप don’t fix my car!”
    Grey flashes us a dazzling smile. “Maybe I will.”
    “You-”
    “Just drop it!”
    Beth looked at me and sighed. “Fine,” she looked at Grey, “but this isn’t over.”
    “It’ll never be,” Grey replied breezily.
    With that Beth stormed off and we all followed, and I turned to shoot the jerks a glare. Grey was looking past me, at Beth’s retreating back. He looked normal in his jerkish sort of way, but something different, lighter reflected in his eyes.
    And ever since then Grey has been अभिनय differently, like he flirts with girls but declines तारीख, दिनांक offers, and he always seems to be around whenever Beth is around. Always having this sort of softness in his eyes when she was near.
    So, in other words, he had it bad.
    There’s only one problem, I don’t think Beth shares the same feelings. She’s nice and sweet to him, but I don’t think she likes him enough to ever date. She’s warmed up to him ever since he repaired her car, paying extra then to what was needed, and her car was ten times better than before.
    Back to the story, we were talking when Grey interrupted us, still holding his motorcycle helmet.
    “Hello ladies,” he said, flashing us those pearly whites. “Don’t आप two look dashing.”
    “You know that’s supposed to stay on your motorcycle,” I said, pointing to his helmet, as he followed us into the school.
    “I’ll put it in my bag,” he replied coolly.
    “Did आप want something?” I asked, giving him a look.
    Grey’s gaze flitted nervously to Beth and quickly back to mine, turning back into that calm and cool collected guy. “Why? Do आप think I want something?”
    “You always want something,” Beth says.
    Grey grinned and winked at her as he walked away. Now if that had been any other guy, आप might’ve thought he liked her. But this was Grey Callister, he winked at every girl.
    “Wow…that was weird.” Beth said, looking perplexed.
    “Why he winks at everything and anything that wears a skirt.”
    “But I’m wearing pants…” Beth informed looking down at her jeans.
    I roll my eyes and grab her arm to tow her to our class, I see Grey from the corner of my eye, putting his हेलमेट in his backpack and laughing while taking something out of it too.
    I heard a jingle.
    We entered the classroom, Sage and Ali grinned at us, as they bounded her way toward us.
    “Guys Mr. Howard is sick!” Ali jumps up and down.
    “They say he has the flu!” Sage claps her hands excitedly.
    “And that’s good because…”
    “We have a new HOT substitute, he’s foreign, like from a place that has HOT dudes, did I mention he was HOT!”
    “Yeah,” Beth says, nodding, massaging her ears. “And I think you’ve busted my ears because of it.”
    “His name?” I inquired.
    “Mr.-”
    “Manson,” a voice cuts through.
    We all turned around to see Grey, grinning cheekily while holding out some keys.
    Wait a minute, that’s my keys!
    “Wait a minute, that’s my keys!” I yell (he he, twice in a row!).
    “They are?” Grey’s face shows surprise but his smirking eyes tell another story. “I found them on the ground in front of the school.”
    No they weren’t, I had them yesterday. I bet आप all my allowance that he sneaked into my house (which he was banished from) and took them.
    How does he know where I live?
    Easy, were neighbors. Get your jaw off from the floor jerks, it’s no big deal, I banned him from ever stepping foot in this house the दिन I moved here.
    I reach out to grab the keys, but Grey pulls them back. “What,” I snap annoyed.
    “You owe me one.”
    “No I don’t!”
    Grey sighed. “Guess I can keep them.”
    “What do आप want?!” I whined.
    “I’ll tell आप what…” his gaze drifts to my friends, lasting longer on Beth. “Later…”
    He turned and walked at a brisk pace, heading to his homeroom.
    I was muttering incoherent sentences as Beth spoke up. “I wonder what he wants?”
    “Money,” I said,. Remembering the last time I ‘owed him’. I had लॉस्ट my cat named Kitty, and Grey just had to find him. And I ‘owed him one’, so I had to give up all my birthday money, which was a lot!
    So just a little tip for you…
    Tip 1- When आप owe someone it can usually lead up to no good.    
    Tip 2- When आप owe Grey Callister, it can only lead to trouble.
