Optimus Prime would eventully win. In a street, there is bound to be a couple humuns there. And Optimus Prime's main rule is "Don't harm the humans." Megetron might be winning for a little while, but Optimus Prime will catch up at some point in time. ( Plus Optimus Prime is hott!!!!!!)

I go with Megatron all the way. Granted they both have beaten each other in the past. In the final hours and in there final battle yes i would say Prime in a way did win the battle, but Megatron won the war between them. Yes Megatron will use any dirty trick to win and he will be ruthless about it. In almost every Transformers saga Optimus dies, and who is normally the one to kill him. The all mighty MEGATRON!!!!!

Originall, Megatron and Optimus have a 10 rating for strength. Megatron has a 10 for firepower and Prime has a 9 or 8. But couple that with their intelligence and Optimus wins. I am sick of the bad guy always being bad ass until a human steps in or any sort of help steps in. Prime would kick ass! Not just because of the strength of his punch but also his intelligence but because he is strategic and much smarter. I know that Megatron can fly out of a black hole (as the original data of him states) but that just proves he can fly faster than the speed of light (which is crap by the way for a gun or plane). And please take the humans out of the equation as well. I am sick of the Autobots depending on Sam. They didn't in the original release of the cartoon and they should not now. SPIKE was there to help them learn of earth, not get in the middle of their battles. Prime is raw power and strength, as well as is Megatron. Let's do away witrh the human interaction and show Prime and Megatron really kicking ass. Prime did beat and destroy "The Fallen" who was Megatron's Lord. Though it was stupid, the whole JetFire character (they did it wrong) Prime still defeated the one who Megatron feared. Prime is the one. But Transformers needs a true writer who can bring a realistic (though Transformers is not real) view to the public and have all jaws dropping. Michael Bay is a true master of films, but I do not think he is a genuine Tranformers fan, otherwise there would be less human interaction (especially the love interest of females who can not act) and more of the robots interactin. Just my opinion.

Prime would be trying not to kill innocents, while Megs would have no such quarrels. He would attack when Prime was trying to help humans.

A "street fight" means NO RULES.

Realistically, Megatron wouldn't hold back in any way; strategically, tactically, emotionally and anything else he can think of.

He would lure Prime into an area with "innocents", have one or more of his troops aid him (before, during or after the fight), and Megatron would carry on him some extra weapon to give him the upper hand. He would even start another battle somewhere else to thin out Prime's forces and deny him assistance.

Michael Bay's version of Optimus Prime, on the other hand seems to be just as much, or even more of a street fighter than any of the Decepticons... LOL! Add to that, the fact that Bay's 'Cons are seriously underpowered and/or severely lacking in brains and Bay's Prime owns EVERYONE.

The only reason Bay's Prime has lost or died was because that MORONIC Sam always gets in the way. Haven't seen TF: DotM yet, can't make any judgements on that, one way or the other.

Galvatron is a different story. That crazy MoFo would blow up the planet or something...

Each of them are powerful in their own way. They each have some sort of weakness, though. Optimus's is well... as Darkrai23 said. And Megatrons weakness in Prime is Starscream lol. But in the movies, it's his power I guess. He thinks he can destroy nearly anything and everyone.

So, hell yea either of em could win. Megatron might blow up Earth and eat some people, then watch all the Autobots cry and swear vengeance, then kill some others (idk). No rules in a street fight; I've seen one and TRUST ME. While Prime and the others are distracted, Megs would rip each of their heads off and mount them on his wall. But, that's my opinion.

It is simply a matter of opinion. I only chose because I think Megatron would win. I THINK that. So stop arguing over who would win. Considering they are both equal in strength and experience, it's just a matter of time. The chances of Optimus winning is 50%, and the chances of Megatron winning is 50%. And for the people who say the good always wins, shut your faces.
