"I'm coming!" Thirteen yelled as she slowly made her way to the door.
"House? What are आप doing here?"
"I know you're on maternity leave and are due in a few weeks so I thought I'd stop by..."
"I'm okay. Really...I'm not alone. My Dad and Step-mom are coming in to town tomorrow to help me."
House limped to the सोफ़ा, सोफे and sat down.
"Has Foreman been by?"

"He's trying but I don't want him in that way anymore...But I think he'll be a good dad. He's been happier since finding out."
"Yeah, he has..."
"Why are आप really here?" She asked as she placed a तकिया behind her lower back. House sighed and propped his feet up on the coffee table.
"I was in the area and thought I'd stop by."
She chuckled to herself.

"Okay. I needed a break from the case, the team, Luddy..."
"Luddy?"
"Lucas and Cuddy mixed together creates Luddy. Not the most attractive name..."
"So, आप are in प्यार with her." Thirteen stated as she traced her belly. House looked down at her stomach and then up at her slightly swollen face.
"Maybe...You know you've been happier too since the bambino." He कहा with a thoughtful smile.
Thirteen smiled and placed her hand against his cheek. House was surprised द्वारा the gesture, especially coming from Thirteen, but he accepted anyway.
"I am happier. आप know this pregnancy is a huge risk but the best प्यार comes with a risk. आप take risks in everything else आप do. Why not take a risk with your दिल too?" She asked him as she released his cheek.

"No. She hasn't. She wants to. She wishes she could, but she hasn't. I can tell and so can everyone else..."
House smiled sadly and gestured to her belly.

Thirteen smiled in surprise and pulled his hand down to rest on her stomach.
"He kicked!" She exclaimed. House grinned.
"The kid seems like a fighter." He कहा as he felt the subtle vibrations against his hand.
"Well, it takes one to know one." She कहा as she placed a hand on his shoulder. House nodded in thanks.
