I don't like Katherine very much, but I hope she won't get killed in season 3. I think Klaus might use Stefan to hunt Katherine but at the end of the day Klaus will do the dirty work himself. He enjoys killing way too much.

I think she's still so essential to the story, there's killing characters off and there's killing characters off. Katherine still has so much to reveal.

I really hope not, I mean it would be sad enough if Katherine died, but if Stefan killed her it would be heartbreaking, especially knowing how much Kat loves him.
