A Combination of parental father figure because he always tries to help his Smurfs no matter and he loves them no matter what,no what problem there is he'll always try to fix it! and he's a bit of a leader too because he's respected around the village and demands as well as he gets respect from the younger Smurfs so I feel he's a little of both!
