I remember visiting this website once...
It was called The Originals Season 2 Episode 13 Recap: Baby Hope Saves The Day!
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Season 2 Episode 13, which was directed by Lance Anderson and written by Christopher Hollier & Julie Plec, contains major spoilers. Please do not scroll down until you have watched “The Devil is Damned,” which originally aired on The CW on February 9, 2015.
Just chillin’ with my paci, being a hero. #Normal.
…..Rebekah managed to escape the asylum thanks to big sis Freya, and reunited with Klaus. Finn cursed his brother Kol with a death sentence, pointlessly tortured Marcel, and inadvertently learned that Baby Hope was alive. You know who else is still alive? Jackson, despite being beaten to a bloody pulp by Klaus. Thankfully Hayley swooped in to save the “Alpha” of her pack (even though she’s the most kickass leader ever) and rewarded him by revealing his biggest secret: that she has an adorable daughter who is in grave danger.
Now scroll on down to see what sorts of explosive events occurred in
Crescent Traditions: First thing’s first — what’s the deal with the broom? Well, apparently in the land of jean jackets and long-haired were-hunks, superstitions and shivarees are a way of life. So if a preacher isn’t able to venture down to the woods in time for someone’s wedding, all a young couple needs to do is jump over a stick with straw tied on one end. Then, they can get down and dirty, guilt-free. Jackson gets all shy and giggly like a hardcore One Direction fan who finds himself look right into Harry Styles’s eyes during a concert.
Meanwhile, Hayley is like, ‘What is this…6th grade?’ But even she blushes a little at the thought of running her fingers over Jackson’s bare torso —
after she gets a glimpse of the special Crescent crib he’s building for Hope (with his bare hands, mind you) and seeing twelve small children laughing and dangling from each of his carpenter arms.
‘Do you mind if I stick a needle into your vein and get a sample of your DNA? I’m asking on behalf of a murderous enemy.’
There Will Be Blood: Maybe it’s because Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) is ridiculously good-looking. Perhaps it’s because he always smell nice and gives the most rousing speeches. Whether it’s jealousy or another reason, Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) definitely has it in for the poor guy. In fact the instant he wakes up from a magically-induced state of slumber on a dusty floor, Marcel finds himself as Finn’s mercy. The fiend doesn’t even give homeboy the chance to splash some cold water on his face or brush his fangs before he starts barking orders. “Fetch me Hayley’s blood!” he demands. “Suck it and go wash yo momma’s knickers!” Marcel sasses. However, he has no choice but to give in seeing as Finn starts killing his best vamp babies one –one.
So Marcel heads down to the bayou, seeks out Hayley, and surprisingly is upfront about Finn’s latest cruel plan. ‘Pretty sure your sort of brother-in-law is looking for the baby you compelled me to forget about,’ he points out and, naturally, the mama wolf goes into panic mode. However, she doesn’t race over to the safe house because a. Handyman Elijah is on the case and b. the Alpha Convention is about to begin and as werewolf prom queen, she must represent. She has to decide who needs her the most and Marcel promises that no harm shall come to Hope when Uncle E is around to protect her. Damn straight! (Plus, he folds blankets like a pro. Best babysitter!)
‘I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH IT MAKES ME WANT TO HURT YOU!!!’
Forever Together: Little brothers can be such pests sometimes, but even when they steal your toys, pull your hair, or get you locked up in an asylum and force your essence into a witch’s body, you still love them. And no one realizes this more than Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), who after coming face-to-face with Kol (Daniel Sharman), discovers she actually gives a rat’s ass about what happens to the meddlesome rascal. At first she wants to smack the living daylights out of him, but upon learning that he might drop dead any second– and that he’s playing the “con” known as the “truth” — she relinquishes her bitterness and hatred towards him.
‘If you’re walking around with your head intact, that means I love you, too.’
In fact, when Klaus — upon learning that Kol is planning to dagger him — gives him a good whooping, Rebekah intervenes and tells Nic to back the eff off. However, as much as Klaus loves to instill the gift of fear in his bro, even the angriest hybrid can’t rip his head off. Klaus might not be the “bastion of temperance,” but even he isn’t enough of a monster to kill his beloved sibling.
You know who is though? Finn! Thus, in an effort to protect Hope from the world’s worst uncle, the three of them set aside their differences and team up to break the spell that’s giving Marcel’s vamp gang a serious case of the munchies. End Goal? Cut off Finn’s all-you-can-siphon power buffet, aka their unconscious parents.
As for Klaus, he allows Kol and Bex to draw power from him and the white oak dagger he’s had stashed away all these months, and together they form a circle of trust and break the mutha-freaking link. After their successful mission, they partake in a semi-group hug and basically smile at each other because they’re family and need to have each other’s back —
stab them. Bex and Klaus promise to save Kol and he gets all teary-eyed because he’s finally getting the love he’s coveted from the. (THIS MUST BE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO SIT AT THE POPULAR KIDS’ TABLE AT LUNCH, GUYS.)
‘For heaven’s sake! Can y’all at least wait until the blood has dried on the parchment?
The Alpha Convention: In case Finn hasn’t caused enough headaches for literally everyone he knows, he leaves a van full of hungry vampires, including Gia, smack in the woods. Naturally, they emerge all ravenous for blood and crash the important werewolf ritual — the one in which local Alpha leaders pledge their allegiance to the Crescent werewolves and acknowledge Jackson as their leader in return for some of Hayley’s transform-at-will juice. Hayley and Marcel rush in and punch and roundhouse kick their way around the ritual site in order to avoid any unnecessary kills on either supernatural team, but the odds are stacked against them and many vamp and Alpha lives are lost in the process. Thankfully, they spell is taken down before any more hot supernatural creatures perish on this beautiful, sunny morning.
The Reunion: Freya is on the loose and while she hates most of her brothers, Kol is on her ‘Good Boy.’ She fondly remembers all the times they climbed trees as kids and talked to the moon (or some other weird family outing that involved getting deep with nature), and he’s shocked to learn that his sister is still alive after all these years. The last time he ever laid eyes on her was when their crazy aunt Dahlia ripped her right from Esther’s loving arms.
‘I have no idea who you are, but here are ALL my secrets.
And because Elijah’s crisply pressed suits are legitimately sharper than Finn ever will, he bares his entire soul, revealing that Klaus is a hybrid with a daughter. Freya seems intrigued….a little too much if you ask us. (Honestly, if a strange woman shows up claiming to be your long-lost 1000-year-old sister demanding that you get her eagle talons and boar tusks, you don’t just open your heart to her — you make damn sure that she’s not actually your evil aunt masquerading as one of your favorite sibling.)
entertains her brother with a neat trick in which she turned a caterpillar into a butterfly with a sweep of her hand. Finn claps and claps so loudly, like an overjoyed kid at the circus, that he doesn’t really pay any mind when Freya suspiciously mutters, “I’ve come to understand a lesson in our time apart: You have to let some things dies, so that others may live.”
‘I come in peace….JK. Happy Opposite Day!’
Kaboom: If Finn thought he could just show up at the safe house, and overpower Elijah then he’s a downright fool. Elijah, who between making omelets, fixing the fence and confronting the dreaded “red door,” has enough chores and inner demons to deal with, rolls up his sleeves and gives his big bro the fight he’s been itching for.
Despite his promise to protect his family through thick and thin, however, Elijah snaps (especially after Finn destroys
one of his favorite shirts because there are only so many stains a Tide stick can get out) and things get super gritty between the eldest Mikaelson brothers. Elijah realizes that Finn is not the kind of relative he’d ever invite to Christmas supper; he’s beyond enraged that Finn’s willing to sacrifice his  niece to save his own skin and if there’s anything that honorable Elijah hates it’s a self-serving coward. Thus, the instant Ellijah senses that there’s a gas leak in the house, he resorts to drastic measures to get rid of his saccharine older brother: Tearing a page out of the Elena Gilbert-approved ‘setting yourself on fire’ playbook, Elijah removes his daylight ring, sticks his hand in direct sunlight, and chucks his metal jewelry at the gushing pipe.
‘I will be writing a letter to the director of the supernatural witness protection program, that’s for damn sure!’
Clink. Silence. BOOM! The entire edifice blows up and hot flames shoot straight up to the sky. Cami, who’s already traumatized over the fact that Elijah refused to do housework shirtless and that she had to press a germ-ridden
payphone to her ear, watches in horror from afar. She’s clearly rattled that she and little Hope were
close to getting sprinkled all over the front lawn, and we don’t blame her for being gob-struck. So is Elijah alive? Is Finn dead? We don’t know for sure, but that was certainly one
‘Saved you from getting blown to bits. Now time for my diaper change and a nap.
The Little Hero: As it turns out, just like Renesmee Cullen, Klaus and Hayley’s precious nugget is not only beautiful but also otherworldly. Hope Mikaelson not only rocked a cupcake band-aid like a boss (can we one day discuss exactly
the most diabolical vampire family had these on hand?), turned a car engine off with her mind, and legit kept Cami and herself from being blown to bits: What have
That being said, let’s chat about

In 18th century New Orleans, this immoral family hopes to build a home for themselves. But the city is lawless, and the witches and werewolves aren’t going to give up their territory without a fight. If there’s anything a vampire likes, it’s a good bloodbath, and Klaus Mikaelson isn’t afraid to begin a war over the woman he loves.

I honestly think this episode was awesome.I think baby Hope will be something entirely different. She is amazing already. As for the beloved brothers,I’m hoping that Klaus,Makes complete amends, with Kol.And Hayley is suck a badass.LOVE them all.
I really hope Freya saves Kol and backstabs Finn as a plot twist
I hope Elijah Mikaelson is still alive, i cant wait to see hope full potential, and i hope the wedding get off the ground. i cant wait to see next monday episode. i just love Klaus Mikaelson, he is a real family man
really, I am excited to watch the real potential of Baby Hope…
Lets not forget that Esther is a witch and the only reason the mikaelson lot didn’t become a witch is because they never were trained to the power. However, the fact that Hope has werewolf AND vampire in her might give her the raw power and talent needed to use that power anyway. She must have some sort of foresight as how else would she have known to turn off the car all together? She’s so beautiful swell, and I think soon she won’t needing protection. She’ll be able to protect herself.
