Kathleen Shea

Six-year-old Kathleen Shea was last seen on March 18, 1965 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.

She went to school that day and then went home for lunch. Her dad offered to take her back to school afterwards, but she decided to walk instead. A crossing guard helped Kathleen across 15th Street and then stopped to talk to a neighbor, but she never made it back to school.

Kathleen wasn't reported missing until that afternoon when she didn't return home from school. Bloodhounds traced her scent a block from her school, but they lost the trail.

Her case is classified as a non-family abduction. Since then, Kathleen's parents are now deceased, but one of her brothers still lives in Pennsylvania and her younger sister (who was born after she disappeared) lives in Florida.
