Tina and Bethany Sinclair

Authored by PrincessLdyBg91

Thirty-four-year-old Tina Sinclair and her 15-year-old daughter, Bethany were last seen on February 4, 2001 in Chesterfield, New Hampshire.

Tina's boyfriend, Eugene Bowman Jr. told the police that he had gotten into an argument with Tina and he left the house. When he came back, Tina and Bethany weren't home. All of their clothes were missing, but the rest of their personal belongings including Tina's 15-year-old cat and her car were still at the house.

Tina and Bethany weren't reported missing for six days. The last person to hear from them (besides Eugene) was Bethany's boyfriend, who had a conversation on the phone from 11:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight the night before she and Tina went missing and they had made plans for Valentine's Day.

The day after Tina and Bethany disappeared, an unidentified woman called Bethany's school to report that she was sick and wouldn't be attending classes, but authorities don't know the identity of the female caller.

At the time of her disappearance, Tina and Eugene had a troubled relationship and she was preparing to leave him. Tina's sister was concerned about Bethany's safety because Eugene has a criminal record as a sex offender and served two years in prison for molesting his 8-year-old daughter. She wanted Bethany to live with her in Connecticut, but she and Tina had an argument about the situation and hadn't spoken to each other since that time.

Tina and Bethany's cases are classified as endangered missing people. Although Eugene has not been named a suspect in their disappearances, he is considered a person of interest.
