Hannah Taylor Gordon - Melanie

kizzalou88 I dont know her as an actress, but the look doesnt suit. her skin isnt dark enough, she doesnt look tall or strong enough and she just isnt overly pretty. I mean she is, but not in the way i imagined melanie. please dont take offense.

julianhart Are you blind? I’m a red blooded man and she’s hot!! I looked her up online and it says she’s 5”10”. I wouldn’t call that short. Also it doesn’t matter about ‘skin tone’ – haven’t you ever heard of fake tan?

Culygirly Nope. Not my idea of Melanie. I agree the look doesn't suit Melanie. She might be hot to you but she isn't as beatiful as Odette.

julianhart Yes it is my personal opinion that she is hot. Just like it is only your personal opinion that Odette is prettier than Hannah – I do not agree. I guess your idea of beautiful is just very different to mine because I think Hannah Taylor Gordon is absolutely radiant! This is why, at the end of the day, all our casting choices for Mel will differ. However, please name ONE thing Odette has done that has received critical acclaim? The girl might have a pretty face but she could not act well if her life depended on it!!!! For me, Mel’s beauty is just as much...if not more...about her personality and inner strength of character than it is about her face. So in my eyes the best casting scenario would be to cast a pretty girl but most importantly a girl who is a knockout actress! For me, this is Hannah Taylor Gordon NOT Odette.

VictoriaAlice I never imagined her as Mel. I think Odette looks more like her. They are both pretty though. I just think Odette looks more how I imagined Mel. Honestly, I haven't seen either of them act, so I can't say who's better in that sense. Please don't get worked up over this; I just prefer Odette to her for a certain role, but she would probably be my second choice.
