Not really a fair contest, Buffy has superpowers. No matter how well trained and intelligent Sydney is superpowers trumps training.

Also, on top of the super stregnth and reflexes Buffy's smart, trained and has great instincts. Sydney seems to have them too, in the episodes of her show I've seen, but unless Sydney suddenly develops superpowers at some point in the show that I never heard about (entirely possible, I've only seen bits of Alias, so for all I know she does) Buffy would win.
