I've watched some pretty horrible shows just because of the characters. :p I don't like the show if I don't like the characters. Then it would be the show and the cast. The celebrities aren't what I care about most, but sometimes they are one of the reasons I start watching a show, usually if they are people I liked in other shows. If I don't like an actor, I'm not going to like the character.
