I've found Crowley. He's in charge of the सूपरनॅचुरल conventions for Creation Entertainment. आप stand in one line for an घंटा and a half and when आप get to the front आप go to the अगला line.
Just kidding! Yes, the lines were long, the wait between events interminable but the reward was well worth the wait. I was only able to attend the convention on Friday night and part of Saturday but I'm glad I went.
I did attend the Steve Carlson संगीत कार्यक्रम Friday. He played about 45 minutes. I guess आप would call him folk rock. He played original material and some covers. He did a cover of "She's Not There" that was great! He was also very funny and since we were a small crowd he made us feel like part of the show. I stayed for the karaoke party and let me just say that there are some crazy SPN प्रशंसकों out there! And I mean that in the best possible way! Matt Cohen and Richard Speight Jr. were wild!! I left about 12:30 and they were still partying.
My main two reasons for going to this particular convention were to attend the J2 panel and to have my चित्र taken with Jared. चित्र ops were first so we(thank god I was with debie24) sat in the main theater for 3 hours waiting because Jared's चित्र ops were last. FINALLY, they took us upstairs where we went into another line(I'm not kidding) to actually go into the room with Jared. Someone from Creation came out about every 5 मिनटों with a speech about what not to do. आप know, don't ask for hugs, don't give gifts, blah,blah,blah. Oh, and don't ask him to pick आप up. Seriously? That one just never occurred to me.
Anyway, the line moved pretty quickly and every step closer to that door, I got और and और nervous which I hadn't thought possible. Then, I stepped throught the doorway and got my first look at Jared in the flesh. OH WOW. He is even और gorgeous in person than he is in pictures. He was tall and tan and well..I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I know he must have been tired but he was just so nice to everybody. I was finally at the front of the line. He कहा good bye to the person in front of me and then turned to me. Instead of falling in a dead faint, या to my knees and begging him to run away to Bali with me(either would have probably gave Creation a coniption fit), I very calmly walked आगे and shook his hand and told him how nice it was to meet him. He told me the same then put his arm around me(OH DOUBLE WOW) and I put mine around him. Then he said, "And, oh, thanks." I'm still not sure what he was thanking me for. Maybe for coming to the convention,or for paying money to spend 15 सेकंड्स with him, या maybe just for introducing myself. I don't know. It doesn't matter really it was just nice to be that close to him. And girls, he is solid. I know they took my picture but I don't remember looking at the camera(seriously, I really don't..I hope I don't have some stupid look on my face!!). Then, I looked up at him(sigh) and I told him thank you. He smiled and कहा something that I honestly don't remember because I was too busy taking in his eyes. I didn't mean to break this down into a play-by-play but there it is. My moment with Jared and I would stand in a line twice as long if it had the same result.
After that it was back to the main theater for the J2 panel. They started with a fanvid done to Celine Dion's "Because आप Loved Me". Yes, आप heard me right. It was actually funny and touching. Then the guys came onstage accompanied द्वारा much screaming and clapping. The first thing Jared कहा was "We're everything we are because आप प्यार us." Serious screaming. Then Jensen, who was looking quite fine himself, says,"I want to know when it became acceptable to play Celine Dion at a सूपरनॅचुरल convention?" I won't do a play-by-play of the panel because the वीडियो are already popping up on Youtube. Suffice it to say that they were funny and gracious and their usual awesome selves. I spent the whole panel standing in line to ask a सवाल which I didn't get to ask of course but on the bright side I was up front close to the stage the entire time so it actually worked out.
It was over much too quickly and the guys were gone. I कहा goodbye to Debie and proceeded to drive 9 hours arriving घर at 3 o'clock in the morning. But, I don't care. IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. I met my कल्पना guy up close and personal and spent an घंटा watching the guys be Jared and Jensen(you know what I mean). I'm already planning my अगला convention. I won't go until I can go सोना so I can experience everything. I hope आप enjoyed my little recap. I'm planning on going to बिस्तर early and dreaming of that one moment when I looked into Jared's eyes and कल्पना became reality.
