Nakoma Incognito was Anakin's new Padawan. She was from Alderaan. She was about 17 years old. But here's a down-side about her-she was born a mute. She could see and hear just fine, but she couldn't talk. Doctors didn't really know what caused her condition, but they were also stunned when they also found her to be Force-sensitive.
Like many younglings, she was discovered and raised at the Jedi temple. But here's another thing-her parents got to visit her! Not many younglings get to visit their parents! Nakoma was a lucky one. As Nakoma's days as a Padawan progressed, it was revealed Mace Windu discovered her while on a mission to Alderaan. Mace didn't want anyone to know HE discovered Nakoma until the time felt right. Yoda was the only one to know he discovered Nakoma. At first, Yoda was kind of skeptical about Mace keeping his discovery a secret, but understood why later on. The reasons for keeping the discovery a secret are unknown, but it must have been for a good reason. Anakin was angry when he found out the discovery had been a secret, but later on realized the order was only protecting Nakoma.
