I have been thinking this out through the entire series. Like Buffy treating Spike like Angel.Meaning after Buffy's shocking discovery about Spike's प्यार for her. Towards the end of Season 5, Buffy was beginning the understand trust with Spike and want to treat him like a man!

When Buffy was brought back to life from Heaven द्वारा her own friends. She felt so loss with love,feeling and understanding. Buffy felt that Spike was the only person that could relate her feelings.
