no its real american metal not any of that screamo death metal even though some of the songs from albums iowa and 10th aniversery are screamo but its still badass and dead memories is awsome

It's as good as any Slipknot song. Which are all amazing. Anyway, "Snuff" is even softer, and it's still a great song.
