Does anyone know if its true that Hannah Murray (Cassie) has been signed as the new Doctor's Assistant?

I just found it on the Skin's official on Twitter:

Skins: just heard Hannah aka Cassie is the new Doctor Who assistant?! Has this been confirmed? That's so like, wow.

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was true.
