Not Your Typical Country Girl Chapter Thirty Two
Clay's POV
After me and Harmony came in from the front porch, I say down on the couch. I wasn't too tired so I figured I would stay up a little bit with mom.
"Oh Harmony, before आप go to बिस्तर I need to ask आप something," mom said.
"Yes em,'" she कहा as she sat on the arm of the couch.
"Sam's parents are going to be going out of town this weekend. It's their anniversary. Johnny surprised Martha with a surprised trip to somewhere. I forgot where she told me, "anyways, Martha didn't want Sam to be staying alone at their house since she's an only child. So, I offered for her to stay the weekend here. Do आप mind sharing a room?"
"Umm," Harmony कहा as she swallowed, "can she sleep in my room and I crash on the सोफ़ा, सोफे in Clay's room?"
Mom looked at her surprised.
"Do आप and Sam not get along," mom asked worried.
"No, I just have a thing about sharing a bed," Harmony कहा as she shivered, "I'll let आप think about since आप seem uneasy about the idea. Night again!"
"Mom, honestly I don't care if she sleeps in my room," I said, "I would hate to share a बिस्तर with someone too!"
"I guess so. I just feel bad that I've sort of pushed Harmony out of her bedroom," mon said.
"I'm sure Harmony doesn't care! Besides, the सोफ़ा, सोफे is comfier than Harmony's bed," I said, "well, Tucker कहा that when he slept on it before she arrived."
"I guess she can. Is Harmony doing okay the bonfires and making friends," mom asked.
"Honestly, I think she hates them. She usually sticks beside me या Tucker. The girls have been unusually mean to her," I said, "but I think she would rather hangout with me than to meet new people. Which is fine with me cause that means और bonding time before I leave for boot camp."
"Right, have आप told her about that," mon asked concerned, "I saw her wearing one of your Navy shirts."
"Not yet, I just don't know when to bring it up," I said, "I have no idea where she got it!"
"I prolly got some shirts mixed up. Just pray about it," mom said, "I'll pray that she will except. I just feel like she isn't a प्रशंसक of change."
"Well, I could see why she wouldn't like it," I said, "but I need to head to bed. This storm is putting me to sleep. Night momma!"
"Goodnight प्यार you," she said.

I woke up the अगला morning to a clap of thunder. This storm was staying round for while. Hopefully, it wouldn't be here much longer. I grabbed my phone off my nightstand so I could check the weather radar. Sure enough, this storm was her for the day. We needed the rain but it was always a pain to work in it.
I set my phone back down and tried to go back to sleep.
I woke up to my door creaking open.
"Clay," a little girl कहा from the door, "I'm scared!"
Before I could say anything the little girl squealed and ran towards my bed.
"It's okay Harmony," I said, "I'm here."
How did I know this was Harmony? Why is she a little kid? This isn't making any sense at all. She was short and her hair was really long. Her blond hair was long and glowing against the dark color of her shirt.
"Can I sleep in here with you," she asked as she clung to me as thunder echoed through my room.
"Sure," I said.
I let her get underneath the covers.
"Your the best big brother," she whispered.
My alarm started going off. I sat up in बिस्तर and looked around. That was a weird dream.
It was time to wake up and start the day. But I was tired and the thunder storm was putting me back to sleep. I laid back down and closed my eyes. It wasn't a मिनट later I startled द्वारा the loud thunder. That was God's way of telling me to get up and read my Bible.
The beginning of my दिन always started out with my God and I time. This was the only time when the house was quiet and it wasn't busy. I stated out द्वारा my daily prayer list, then I moved on to पढ़ना a few chapters in Psalm, and then I started on my memory verses.
Once I was done with God and I time. I made my way down stairs to help with breakfast. I was starving.
"Morning Mom," I कहा as I yawned.
"Someone is still tired," she कहा laughing.
"It's the rain and thunder," I stated, "it gets me every time!"
"I know what आप mean," she said, "morning Dustin and Lance."
"Morning," Lance grumbled.
"Good morning," Dustin said.
Dustin seemed और awake then any of us.
"Smells good mom! What are आप cooking," Finn कहा as he bounced in the kitchen, "I hope it's bacon!"
"Well, आप are cheerful for a gloomy morning. Yes, I cooked सूअर का मांस, बेकन for you," mom कहा laughing, "oh! Someone needs to wake Harmony up!"
"I'll do it," Finn said.
"Don't startle her," mom कहा as he ran out of the kitchen, "that boy is always hyper. I wish I had his energy!"
"I think we all do," dad कहा as he came into the kitchen, "good morning boys. Morning Abigail."
"Okay I woke her up! But she isn't happy," Finn कहा as he appears द्वारा the plate of bacon.
"Finn, आप can't eat till it's on the table," dad scolded.
"Yes sir," Finn said.
Everyone watched as Finn went to the तालिका, टेबल with the plate of bacon. He sat the plate in front of his spot and sat down. Everyone started laughing because he loves सूअर का मांस, बेकन too much.
Harmony came walking into the रसोई, रसोईघर and propped her chin on her hand that was propped on the island.
"Morning Harmony," mom कहा as she hugged her.
"Morning," she कहा not so cheerful, "how is he such a morning person?"
"We've never been able to figure out who he got it from," dad said.
"I imagine you're a night owl," I said.
"Very much so," Harmony कहा as she yawned.
"I figured. I could see your light on," I said.
"Oh sorry," she said.
"It's alright," I said.
Everyone sat down at the तालिका, टेबल as Tucker walked through the door.
"Just in time for the blessin'," dad said.
Tucker quickly sat down and dad started saying the blessin'.
Clay's POV
