Are Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan friends?

I don't think they're close as they used to be.

I heard Alyson dissed Sarah before like in an interview, so they're probably not friends. I'm not really sure either.

I've been wondering about this for ages and searching गूगल and whatnot. From what I gather Alyson hasn't got much to do with her BtVS co-stars now, and I don't actually think Sarah and her were that close whilst shooting Buffy, either. Supposedly she was miffed because she didn't know Sarah was quitting Buffy until she read it in the mags, and that's how she found out she was 'out of a job'. I was really gutted, it's nice the assume on-screen फ्रेंड्स are close off-screen aswell :(

I've never heard anything bad surrounding the two and rarely ever hear anything about their IRL friendship.
