If it was a friend, I wouldn't want to have to abandon my family. However, depending on the case, I would also make the contract and fight by their side, considering that I will go to Heaven, when I die, and have nothing to worry about, because I wouldn't want them to be alone in their suffering. However, I wouldn't want to endanger others, after losing my soul, once I have become a witch.
