Aye,Kind of..well in Diamond,Pearl and Platinum the double battles only happened when you were in the forest..but there it happens in dark grass,well anyway I think it's good training BUT it's annoying when you try to capture a certain Pokemon...darn Datsutodasu..I wanted to him Gardy so badly!XD,but anyway in the process of that both my Pokemon fainted,there and I had to turn the game off because it wouldn't let me send any of my other party Pokemon in,bleh after that I didn't really like it as much.
