I was thinking about this and I was like I honestly have no idea at all. B/c I know tha tLuke would care for the kid if there was one, but would he be with Brooke or Peyton I don't know.

Luke would never be like Dan. He wouldn't abandon Brooke and his child. Especially if she was pregnant senior year, because he was so in love with her...

Not just because he wouldn't do that to her, but also because Peyton wouldn't have dared said anything about his feelings for Lucas if she was pregnant.
Not only would Lucas not abandon his girlfriend and his child like his father did to him, but Peyton would not do that to her best friend.
So, no.
Leyton would not end up together.

he didnt wanna be a dan. so he would of been there for brooke and his baby. BUT staying in a relationship with brooke would of still been doing a DAN. he stayed with deb and there baby even though he loved karen.

peyton wouldnt of admitted her feelings for luke if brooke was preggers. but i doubt brucas would of worked out anyway. so i guess peyton could of jumped in when luke realized he couldnt be with brooke :)

agree completley with xoheartinohixo, lucas would have never done that to brooke, especially if it was back in senior year cuz he was totally and completley in love her, and plus abondoning her wuld make him just like dan.

Laurra, i can see what you're saying about him staying with her being like Dan IF it were in season 1, but there is no way you can honestly say that he wouldn't have been staying with her for any reason other than love in season 3. Just because the writers like to try and rewrite history, that doesn't change the fact that Lucas was IN LOVE WITH BROOKE S2-S3. He was not denying his feelings for Peyton, that's just a bullshit excuse the writers have used to try and force people to ship LP.

just because Lucas and Brooke wouldn't end up together doesn't mean that he would abandon his child. Lucas and Brooke ended things because there was no denying that the love wasn't there anymore, and that Lucas and PEYTON were the ones that were meant to be. Lucas and Brooke having a baby wouldn't have changed any of that. a baby can't create love between a couple. if love fades, then it fades... just like it did with Brucas!

and as Brooke said herself... people that are meant to be together always find their way in the end. and clearly Leyton are meant to be. they would have eventually found their way no matter what the circumstances. they are inevitable. i think we all know that!

^^^ That's such crap. Brooke and Lucas were 100% still in love. You don't go from being in love with someone early in the day to completely stop loving them later that night. I wish LP fans would stop lying and just admit that the only reason BL was broken up was because of Chad & Sophia. We ALL know it, some of us just clearly have denial issues. Even Hilarie said LP was so random at the end of S3.

and I wish BL fans would stop being denial and wake up and realize that Mark isn't going to revolve the OUTCOME of the show on the actors' personal lives. he has said that he has ALWAYS known that he has wanted Leyton in the end. Chad and Sophia breaking up has nothing to do with Leyton and the fact that Mark as "created a world where they are meant to be since the pilot". sure their split may have cause Brucas to split SOONER than expected... but Brucas never would have been endgame anyway, even if Chad and Sophia were still together. them being a couple outside of the show isn't going to change the vision that Mark wants for his FICTIONAL TV SHOW. the characters Brooke and Lucas are completely different people from Chad and Sophia. Chad and Sophia may have made a good couple... but Lucas and Brooke definitely didn't, and they were never meant to last.

the idea that Mark would magically one day just be like "you know what, i've always wanted Lucas and Peyton to end up together, and they are the couple that actually makes sense... but since Chad and Sophia are dating in real life, i might as well just have them end up together, and throw all of my previous plans for the ending of my show out the window, and rethink the whole ending so that Brucas end up together because Chad and Sophia are together". I DONT THINK SO lol. the actors' REAL lives and their lives in the TV SHOW are two completely different things. Mark wrote Brooke and Lucas as NOT meant to be, and he wrote Lucas and Peyton AS meant to be. Chad and Sophia dating isnt going to change that... thats ridiculous.

obviously we're never going to agree on this though, so theres no point having a huge debate over it. and at the end of the day it doesnt even matter. this show has since moved so far beyond this issue that theres really no point in discussing it anymore. Leyton are together, Brucas aren't. Leyton have been planned as endgame and written as meant to be since the pilot, Brucas weren't (mark has said so himself...). so i guess you can choose to blame Brucas' split on whatever you want... but whatever you choose to blame it on, doesnt change the fact that Mark never wanted them as endgame anyway, and they would have eventually split for one reason or another.

No offense, but Mark didn't start saying all that "they were always planned to end up together" bullshit until AFTER Chad/Sophia separated so I will continue to call bullshit on that.

I'm not denying that Mark has a hard-on for LP, hell anyone with half a brain knows that. But anyone that also has half a brain knows that he IS biased as shit & he DID break BL up because of CS. You're out of your mind if you really think BL were planned to just end abruptly like that! Brooke was originally supposed to be the one pregnant!! There were numerous spoilers about it, shit even Bethany had absolutely no idea that it was going to be Haley until like right before they shot 4x04!

Try knowing people that went down and got to watch filming, there were quite a few reports of Sophia getting very emotional over the possibility of having to portray being pregnant with Lucas' child. Mark changed it so that Haley was the one pregnant because Sophia {and Chad?} couldn't handle that storyline so soon after their split.

I 100% UNDERSTAND that!! I have a heart, i have compassion, but i would, like many other BL fans, appreciate some truth. All Mark has ever had to do is just say "Hey look, I'm not going to get into their personal business but the situation with Chad and Sophia has prevented us from carrying on a romantic storyline between their characters." If he would just be honest and not try to act like the only reason LP is together is because they are just soooo great {which clearly by the number of BL fans that still exist, isn't true!} then I'd be fine.

just because there are a lot of BL fans doesn't mean that LP aren't great. because incase you haven't noticed, there are TONS of LP fans too.

and maybe LP are together because that REALLY IS the couple that Mark wanted to end with! you know, it IS possible that he really has wanted Leyton all along... and if you ask me its pretty obvious that he has. but whatever, believe what you want to i guess. at the end of the day it really doesnt even matter... it is what it is!

I don't think so. He's not that guy...he would've helped Brooke as much as he could and would always be there for her and the baby ( = Plus, Dan was like a role model Luke never wanted to be like.
But I'm not sure know if he could've been that happy in that case... depends on who he's REALLY in love with and, ALTHOUGH I don't ship either Brucas OR Leyton (love both), HE chose Peyton after all. So maybe he'd be happier with Peyton?! =/
