And they sent her off in the best way, by burning her and not letting her freeze at the bottom of the ocean. while in Ace's case, Luffy wasn't prepared. He had even given away 10 years of his life so that he could ssave him! And then he died in the worst way possible: Saving Luffy. Which also makes it; in a way; partailly Luffy's fault...
