Ronnie's POV:
Rebecca and I were watching the boys tryout from under the bleachers of the foot ball field.I was thrilled with excitement because at any moment we could have been caught.
Rebecca was rather chilled out,as she watched them through a pair of binoculars.The boys were running around the field.
"Wheres Derek?"I asked.
"He's the last one."
Derek dragged behind the other guys,then he past one....then another,and another.
"Wait a second,He's not last he's overlapping them."
"Woah!Go..."I yelled.
"Shh are आप trying to get us expelled?"
"Oh,go derek."I wispered
"He'd be a good runner."she told me.
The सोफ़ा, सोफे blew the whistle and the boys gathered around him.
The सोफ़ा, सोफे told them some things and then got in hike position at the line of scrimmage.Derek was in the quarter backs spot,right in front of the ball.The whistle blew and Derek grabbed ball.I could see the fierce look on his face from afar.
He dodged the players,and knocked a few down,He was unstoppable.He reached the 20 yard line,The players tried to tackle him,But failed.He then past the goal,It was a touchdown!
I laughed at the couches face,He's mouth was agap,Eyes wide open.
"Did I win?"cluelessy he yelled from the goal.
The coach blew the whistle,and dismissed the boys.They started to walk away.
"James,Come here,Son."Said the coach.
"What I do?"
"Nothing,But आप see that ball?Grabbed it and go to the other side of the field throw it at that dot."he pointed to a small red dot on the goal.It was hard to see.Derek went to the opposite side of the field.Derek stepped back,closed his eyes and took a deep breath,He gripped his fingers on the ball,He opened his eyes with confidence,He threw the ball.I watched in amazement,As the ball glided to the other side,It hit the dot.Derek ran up to the couch.
The सोफ़ा, सोफे smiled and told him,
"Congratulations,No ones ever hit that dot except me,That was 27 years ago.Your on the team."
Derek shaked his hand.I ran out,on to the field.
"Ronnie!!"Rebecca yelled.
I forgot I wasn't suppose to be there,so I ran and hugged Derek.
Rebecca started to sneak away.
"Not so fast,missy!"Yelled the couch.
Rebecca walked on the field.
"Okay,Why are आप two here?Theres no reason unless आप want two weeks detention."
"Nooooo,We don't!"I panicked.
"okay,Don't do it again.Rebecca,Stay out the boys locker room to."
"Me?In the locker room?It wasn't me."she lied.
"Then who was it?"He asked.
"okay,I lied.Sorry."she admited.
"Girls get on home,"
"um..Couch Wrench,Heres your ball back."Derek handed him the busted ball.
"Good golly,That was my प्रिय ball to."He told Derek.
I laughe and walked with rebecca off field.
"Going to the locker room?"I asked.
"Yup."She smiled.
