I was also really glad. I didn't expect it too, but at least Gina said what all us regals wanted to.

I wish there was a "I'm split/torn between the two" option... I love Regina, but i love Snow as well. [For me my top 5 list goes- Emma, Snow, Regina, Charming & Ruby]

And let's be real here - Snow has every right to feel the way she does. While i feel for Regina, and i HATE how her mother manipulated her and made her become someone she didn't wish to be, Regina made her own choices once she got rid of her mother. The horrible things she has done - she CHOSE to do them.

So while i would absolutely LOVE to see not just Snow, but also Emma, Henry & David as well, giving Regina a real chance and ALL of them working to trust each other... I'm being realistic. Regina HAS been given multiple chances, hell even now [until Snow saw that she was lying to them and working with Cora] she was being given another chance. Snow & David, as well as Emma & Henry admitted they were wrong about Regina killing Archie and were ready to go back to trying to be civil with each other!

The only way things will ever truly change between Regina/everyone else is when SHE makes a real change. She needs to ditch her manipulative mother & truly show that she is capable of being a better person.

I do agree with what xoheartinohioxo said, and I also agree that Regina had a point. Regina had made an honest effort before Cora came around, but as soon something bad happened, it was an instant turn on Regina, and nothing could change their minds. Snow is fast becoming a very irritating character, so it was nice to see someone finally call her out.

OMG! Snow gave gina all the chances in the world! And to be honest she gave her way too many chances. Even then, while gina was holding the heart of that good, innocent woman in her hands, Snow gave her ANOTHER chance to pick the side of good!!

Regina's got a point. Eve if she was all ''good girl'', they treated her like trash.

They also went for Mr. Gold accusing him he killed Archie. And they had less reasons to believe that. Gina had her chances. And blew them up.

Although there is some truth in what she said blaming your mistakes on everyone else is sort of an adolescent thing to do.

Honestly I think they gave her as much of a chance as you could expect. They left her alone protected her when she was in danger from the villagers and even began to trust her enough ask for her help. You can't expect then to be on friendly terms right away after all that's happened between them. They could of handled the Henry and Archie situations better but that doesn't make Gina actions their fault.

This is true. But nobody is accusing Gold of murder and then going "but why don't you trust us?"

@Princess Snow gives Gina chances when she wants to. Usually to benefit her not Gina. She gave her a chance the first time because Gina had an army ready to kill her, not because she wanted to. And the second time (in the prior episode) because she was going for Gold's dagger. Each time she offered Gina a chance it was for her own somewhat selfish needs not because she cared about Gina. I mean think about it, until she found out Gina was with Cora she made no implications of giving Gina a second chance. And the very fact that Snow thinks she has the right to force someone to redeem themselves and/or deem them worthy or not worthy of redemption is very condescending. If she genuinely wanted to give Gina a second chance she should've worked with her. If I were Snow (despite the first failed 'chance offer') I would jump to give Gina a second chance when she actually wanted one.

Not only that she's an evil queen, but she's also a drama queen. gina's not the center of the universe. she should start realizing that. when you do really messed up things, when you kill & hurt & rape, you accept the chances you are given. you are not in a position to demand..
Snow gave gina tens of chances. Not just one or two.


@bri-marie, actually that's exactly what happened in this episode. Mr. Gold trusted them with the most important thing: his dagger. And they've failed to protect it.

Not really, I can think of so many other characters that are way more over dramatic than Gina. Neither is Snow, both have to work with each other; chances can't be given solely under Snow's terms nor under Gina's. And when you want someone to stop being mean to you and make a huge transition to the good side you are also not in a position to demand. It works both ways. As of now I'm trying to mediate between the two.

Care to give some examples, I only remember her explicitly giving her 2 chances, both of which were only given due in part of desperateness.

1. offering her the chance to say she feels some sort of regret from all her crimes before condamning her
2. after condemning her, saving her from her execution
3. saving her from the dementor, the soul-eating creature
4. today's episode: the meeting at Granny's
5. today's episode: in the tower
etc.

6. after learning that gina was guilty for her father's death she gave her another chance. She said they've both suffered, that she understands. She wanted to call things even. but evil gina blew that chance too.

1. Not a second chance at all. There's a difference between offering a second chance in life and offering a chance to repent before death. She did the second, not the first--the first being the thing we, or at least I, was getting at in this poll.
2. That's the one in which she only offered her a second chance because she new that if Gina got herself free she'd at her again.
3. That was not a second chance either, that was just saving her. Saving someone you don't like is different than second chances; it happens all the time in literature where the hero saves the villain to be noble. That does not mean that they are giving them a second chance. And if she was giving Gina one, why didn't she vocally offer it?
4. Yes that was an offering of a second chance. But that was the selfish desperate offer. Snow did not make that offer because she genuinely wanted to (seeing as she had so much time prior to that offer to do so) she did it to avoid getting hurt. She didn't care about Gina (as one usually would in making a peace offer) she cared about herself. It was not a genuine offer.
5. Again she was desperate, if she wanted Regina to be nice she would've accepted her when she was making an honest-to-God effort, not to worm her way out of problems. And honestly if I remember right it wasn't even a peace offering it was "I told you to choose the right (my) side. You choose the wrong side." type thing.

6. I almost said that, that was a genuine offer. But it wasn't, it was more desperateness. She wouldn't have offered peace if she didn't feel threatened.

I think you seriously should stop finding excuses to pure evilness and ingratitude. @xoheartinohioxo sounds like a true fan to me. She likes the villain as she is, she does not transform the character into something else like you do. from most of your comments I actualy feel you don't like gina, the true gina. You've just created your own character.

This one was a little selfish and I don't blame Gina for not taking her up on it and I agree that 1 and 3 aren't technically second chances, but 2 and 6 are very good examples of snow giving her another chance. She could have let Gina die but she literally gave her another chance at life. Letting her go didn't benefit her at all as the curse proves. I'm afraid I don't recall the time when she gave her a chance to change as Ginas army was tring to kill her. When was that?

Snow can seem bit condescending in her goodness at times but she never does anything with out thinking about everyone involved. It is one of her greatest virtues and also a fatal flaw. She is too forgiving, too eager to find good behind every action.

Mr Gold hid it in a clock tower, unprotected, while Gina and Cora and Hook ran rampant in the city. After Gina and Cora started looking for it, and after Rumple got stabbed and was dying, he told them where it was.

That's not trust.

Also, Rumple didn't ask David and Snow to protect the dagger. They called him because Snow overheard Cora say "we can use The Dark One to kill anyone you like" and knew that Gina would use The Dark One to kill her David and Emma.

They did it to save their own skin, not because they wanted to trust Gold, or wanted Gold to trust them.

I'm not justifying Gina, I'm annotating Snow's motives. If I were justifying Gina's evilness I'd be saying something more like 'Snow should've bowed down to Gina and begged for forgiveness because killing is okay.' I never said that.

Can I just say my wanting Snow called out has nothing to do with me liking Gina. I would have had just a big a "heck yes!" moment if it had been Archie, Ruby, Victor, Jefferson, Cinderella, Granny, Katherine, Emma, Henry, Hook.... any other character in the entire show.

You do all attack me. I don't have to say it, you all know it, you can see it. You all have characters you dislike, and nobody judges you. I have a character I don't like in OUAT and everyone judges me. You should really think about this.

Nobody cares if you dislike Regina, Gold, or anybody. What they care about is how you treat others who like those characters. If you start the fight, you don't get to claim to be attacked because people bite back.

You should count the fight's I've started and the ones others started on this gina-topic. The fact is you can't say anything else other than 'gina is great'. I've never said Gina is great (a great character, yes, but never a great person, and there's a difference). I've argued against the things she's done I don't even know how many times. There aren't too many characters that I haven't been absolutely honest about their flaws.

Again, no one is saying we have a problem with you stating your opinions. What we're saying is that we have a problem with you attacking us for ours, and twisting our words, and putting words into our mouths simply because we like characters you don't.

Again, that is so far from the truth it's ridiculous. xoheartinohioxo said some things about Gina I didn't agree with, bri and minavara have too, and I didn't say anything mean to them. It's not that you don't like Gina, it's not even that you comment your opinion on her. It's how you do it. You're always pretty mean about it and you seem to 'attack' anyone who disagrees with you. Okay i read most of the comments since mine & I really hope that i didn't start/encourage any of this drama! I see my name mentioned a few times - 99% of those mentions are clearly positive, but I'm a little confused about this one:

Princess- I'm not sure what you're trying to imply or what you think i may have meant with that comment but let me clear it up for you - I wasn't "scared" of being attacked, I've never had a problem on this spot so it had nothing to do with actually worrying about anyone specifically! I just know that occasionally people get heated/defensive when a character [or couple/actor/show etc.] is criticized. Some people can't handle ANYTHING remotely negative being said about their favorites & i just wanted to make it known that I am in no way a Regina hater! I LOVE her, flaws and all! She is a truly complex character that i genuinely enjoy seeing the many facets of her personality.

And now that I've cleared up the intent of my comment, i have something more important I'd like to day & I hope everyone will consider it!:

The arguing and the drama has got to stop! Take it from personal experience - nothing good will ever come from arguing and fighting over your opinions. We all have the right to our own individual opinions, and once everyone accepts this and understands that you CAN agree to disagree and still get along and treat each other with respect and consideration, things will be so much more enjoyable on here!

I don't know how many of you are One Tree Hill fans, but i want to share personal experiences i went through & tell you how they have helped to make me a better person:

OTH- I'm a huge Brooke & Lucas fan! Up until recently they were my OTP ♥ [Delena is now my otp & Brucas are #2.] I first joined Fanpop back in November of 2007 because one of my friends that also watched OTH told me about seeing the site & that there was a OTH spot. I got pretty active within a few months of joining and while i had plenty of fun & made new friends and got along well with a number of people, i also got in to quite a lot of arguments with Lucas & Peyton fans.

At the beginning of the drama & arguing [that went on for at least a good 2 1/2 years, probably more around 3 or 3 1/2] it was somewhere around the end of S4/the time before S5 started. For those of you that aren't familiar with the show, Brooke & Lucas broke up at the beginning of S4 and tensions between Brucas & Leyton shippers was extremely high throughout S4.

ANYWAYS! So i don't ramble on for forever i will just summarize - For around 2 years, i [along with quite a few other Brucas fans] got in to so many arguments with a bunch of Leyton fans. While new/random people would occasionally get in the mix, it was generally the same specific group of BL'ers & LP'ers. After S6 ended & the actors that played Lucas & Peyton left, i just realized it was time to stop with all the drama & started to make efforts to get along better with everyone.

Now a few years later, many of those same girls that i used to argue with are now some of my closest friends! We learned to see past our couples and find things we have in common. We treat each other with respect, even if we don't always agree.

I don't mean to sound preachy but that's what needs to be more common! Give each other a chance, make efforts to get past your differences rather than fight. You never know how much you could get along with someone until you try =]

See that's the problem this has been going on since last summer. And in one in one of my comments I mentioned that I have apologized and suggested we start over multiple times only to get harshly rejected or blantly ignored.

Trust me on the HP vs Twilight spot I've gotten into a few arguments, and the greatest feeling is that one you get when all damage done is clear and you become friends with the one you fought. I'd still like for this to happen here but she doesn't seem to work with me. :/ And when we do make progress some third party from one side or another jumps in and sparks the fight again... And I can back this up too;
