The people where laughing because that is what people do. they try to fit in with the crowd. या they just don't know Michael the way we do. There very well may have been MJ प्रशंसकों in the crowd. But they stayed silent या laughed या maybe they just left the room.
या it could have been just a room of MJ haters.
