What exactly is "Screamo"?

I'm kinda fuzzy on the exact definition, and some of the bands I listen to are screamo, but the lines get blurry sometimes and I'm still getting used to the whole metal thing. Also, what are some examples of screamo bands?

"screamo" is the word people use for the type of संगीत called Metalcore. most bands in metalcore/"screamo" use screaming vocals and alot of people in the whole emo/scene type of style like this kind of संगीत so they nicknamed it "Screamo". most metalcore/"screamo" bands include asking alexandria, bring me the horizon, escape the fate, black veil brides, underoath, norma jean, miss may i, blessthefall, attack attack, and others.
