in my opinion Brucas has more onscreen chemistry, leyton can be cute together but brucas sizzles, just the way they look at each other, whether they're fighting, hanging as friends or totally being in love, you can just see the emotion, to me leyton comes off as acting, a relationship forced by writers and blander than leah and dan.

b. Just because they like the same sort of things doesn't mean they have chemistry. When they are together they look like... brother and sister which is very nasty. Besides, Brooke and lucas didn't like the same things which meant their relationship only grew stronger. Opposites attract, right?

i totally agree with you twinklystar_hp!! i am astonished that there is even ONE fan that thinks lucas and peyton have more chemistry than lucas and brooke. i understand that some fans like them better than brucas....but they actually think they have on screen chemistry????? REALLYYY???? i often wonder if we are watching the same show. cause the few times i even felt a little bit the LP love were in scenes when lucas and peyton weren't even together in the scene. like in season 5 when peyton is crying and brooke is comforting her and peyton reads the quote about her from lucas's novel and then you hear lucas doing the voiceover of the quote from the novel...that scene is definitely intense!! but how sad is it that the only LP scene that i feel for them in and feel that it is intense and full of love....is one that lucas and peyton aren't even in together??? because once they are next to each other- it's as if they are talking to a wall. they act as individual actors- not together- they really don't play off each other well.

CHEMISTRY IS THE MAIN REASON IM A BRUCAS FAN....AND I REALLY DISLIKE LEYTON. i cant support a couple that doesnt have the sparks. if i just look plainly at the facts and read the episode scripts....i probably wouldnt be as big of a brucas fan as i am (maybe i wouldn't even like them)- id say brooke is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than lucas and she should have dumped him the first time and never gotten back together with him. but because of the way the actors connect on screen and the amazing way they look at each other...they could do a whole scene without speaking and you would know exactly what's going on just by watching them because their emotions are SOOOO intense and powerful. it really is such a pleasure watching them....i really think their connection was such a hidden treasure when they did the casting of OTH. i feel like mark and the producers probably had no idea they were going to put two actors together that were just going to light up the screen the way lucas and brooke do. if i worked with the casting for the show...id be so proud of myself for finding two people that really make one of the best connections on screen in television history!!!

I used to be undecided on the Brucas/Leyton debate back when I first started watching the show but I'm telling you I never, ever saw Leyton chemistry. They're too alike for my taste.

Brucas' chemistry is very undeniable. I can't think of a better word to describe their interactions... It's not really about who's the better couple, who was endgame, or who was "meant to be". It's about who looked better, acted together better and brought out that intense feeling more. There's no question that was Brucas.

Ok... In my opinion chemistry is VERY subjective. That's what people always debate about it when it comes to different couples they ship/don't ship. Because different people just understand chemistry differently. For me chemistry is in such things like smiles, looks, stolen glances, when two people can just sit together and feel good, without it even having some sexual aspect. The magic between them just happens and that's how chemistry happens. This is what I see in LP.
