The one with the curly hair or the sophisticated looking one would've been othe roptions but after a good while I ended up still picking Townsend.

Especially in this specific photo he's just quite perfect. He looks 20sh and angelically beautiful just as it should be. His hair is rather curly, not quite shoulder length just as it should be - and it seems even blonde in that light, just as it should be.

And even that expression is quite Lestat, though I can't now find the right word for it.

I think its the shadow on the face and his glare that makes Townsend look quite Lestaty (am i allowd to make up words like Lestaty? i like this word, souds playful) in that particular picture.

Tom Cruise will always be Lestat in my opnion. I can think of a few actors I would love to see play the part now and it's totally NOT Stuart Townsend. Even though I like Robert Downey Jr. I don't see him as the perfect fit for this part either.

I actually never thought of Charlie Hunnam as Lestat... I love last centuries Lestats, but I try to keep in mind how he would look nowadays, with the leather jacket and stuff... I think that, with a good makeup and clothes, Charlie would do just right. As handsome Stuart Townsend is and as good as Tom Cruise played him, they didn't fit the description of Lestat.

Not that I would know if he would be a good actor to portray him... I'm just saying look wise.

I love Tom Cruise as Lestat, though I could definately see Charlie Hunnam making a great Lestat.
