I think that it is unlikely that Sarah fnas would make up the vast majority of Labyrinth fans. Sarah's character, whilst inspiring and strong in her convictions, pales in comparison to Jareth - not only does he appeal to the और simple-minded with his appearance and voice, but his character is much और intricate and involved than Sarah's. Sarah is an empty canvas for others to paint their own तस्वीरें on - she's easy to empathis with, as she lives out a pretty average life 9as so many do) and is दिया the opportunity to participate in a wild adventure. Who wouldn't want the choice which Jareth gives her? The very fact that she chose not to stay with him is that which makes it so easy for others to imagine themselves staying with him in her shoes, as there is no precedent to spoil any happy daydreams. Sarah is pretty much just there on merit of her अभिनय skills - she doesn't have much substance as a character, with her average backstory of a life, everything is laid in the clear. Jareth, on the other hand, is a mystery. How did he become the person he is? Who is he, anyway, good या evil? Could he be changed? The सवालों are endless. Jareth is, overall, a और interesting and impassioned character, with all the charm of David Bowie to boot.
I kinda like Jareth more, not because I'm hot for him, but maybe because I sympathesise और with him. It's painful to be lonely and powerful and not get to be with the person आप like. Sarah is और determined, आप don't see much of her emotional side other than some of the growing up lessons that she learns.
I like them both. Sarah is a very good character; I like her determination and that she resisted Jareth. She was also very ब्रेव and never gave up. Jareth was also a good character; he seemed mean but had a और sensitive side (He loved Sarah and actually cared about Toby).
I like her better. I think it's the fact that she was so determined to get her baby brother--whom she disliked and was often forced to spend her free time babysitting--back, even when she was offered her dreams. Not to mention the character development she went through along the way. :)
