It was incredibly sad to learn that Moneypenny and Q had died. But the series brought in John Cleese and Samantha Bond, to take over the roles. I was so disappointed when NEITHER were used in Casino Royale. Its unfortunate that some directors feel the only way to make it "thiers", is to throw out tradition. Get rid of any and all vestigaes of the past. I understand Quantum has cut the "Bond, James Bond" line altogether....sad. :(

Q was the hero of my childhood and I really miss seeing himn in the new movies...

...but on the other hand I don't consider the new stuff "James Bond" anyway....Daniel Craig isn't James Bond for me but some random guy with a gun.

The only reason why I still watch the new movies is because Judi Dench plays M
