I need help

I have any आइपॉड touch that is 16Gigs and My friend has an आइपॉड touch which is 32gigs. Hers can play संगीत with out the headphones in, but mine can't.
Is this because hers has bigger अंतरिक्ष on it, या is it a different model?. या how do i change mine so i Can play संगीत without the headphones in?

Im soooo confused!!
