Hi everyone! I tried to write something new, in a different style - please tell me what आप think :)
I arrived in Los Angeles at 7 pm. I took my luggage form the airport and caught a taxi, jostling through the crowd. About 30 मिनटों later I was opening the door to my room in Maison 140 hotel. I threw my stuff on the बिस्तर and headed towards कॉकटेल cabinet. I poured some Scotch into a glass and came up to the window. The sunset was beautiful and I thought I have never seen something that beautiful in लंडन before. Suddenly I felt happy and sad at the same time. I was glad I answered that phone few days पूर्व and decided to come here, starting my career again in a new place, but I know I’d miss my kids and wife very much. They were aware of the fact that I am doing this not only for myself, but for them, too. On the other side of the coin my marriage needed a space. I mean, we needed a space, we needed to breath again. Being married for such a long time with the right woman wasn’t an easy challenge. Yes, आप heard good - I कहा the right, not the loved one.
After taking a quick shower, I looked at the clock – It was 8:10 pm. I recalled that Stephen told me here, in LA was a really nice jazz club not far from the place I was staying in. I opened the bag and took a white कमीज, शर्ट out.
“Oh E! Please tell me you’re not making me to come to some jazzzz club, darlin’!”
“Come on, it will be fun! There’s karaoke night, remember?”
“I know, I know, but a Jazz club? Really?”
“I’m sorry James, but I need some rest from your Drag-Queen-parties, too” I pecked him on the cheek and we got into a car.
“I’m doing it just because I प्यार you.” He gave me a warning look and I smiled at him.
Maybe I wasn’t the best singer ever and I wasn’t good at the jazz repertoire, but I loved that club and I loved being on the stage just for a second. Sometimes I missed times when I could make a fool of myself in front of a crowd, गाना and dancing like crazy with all of my friends.
“Hey, sweetie how did आप audition went?” the sound of James’s voice shook me awake.
“Good. I think it went really good actually. आप know, they invited me and they got what they want. I’m positive about it.”
“My little girl is flying the coop…” he sniffed and wiped away imaginary tears.
“The Club is around the corner, I will left the car here on the parking” I smiled at him again and turned off the road.
When I walked into the club I took my जैकेट off and sat at the bar. I heard the trumpet of Lee मॉर्गन filling the air and I felt a lot better than just 5 मिनटों ago.
“One vodka, please” I told the barman and I started to look around. What surprised me, there was a lot of people - I always saw LA as a समुद्र तट party town या something. I turned my head to the other side and saw a stage with prepared microphones and a black पियानो standing on the other platform. In one moment a smile appeared on my face and I thought maybe it can be my kind of town…
“Mineral water, please” I suddenly heard behind my right ear.
Who the hell is ordering a mineral water in the bar? A thought run across my mind when I turned my head and saw a pure beauty sitting right अगला to me. She was younger than me, I was sure. She had a long, wavy brown hair which were lightly covering her bare arms. She was wearing a classic black dress with matching high hills. She put her पर्स on the bar तालिका, टेबल and look at me. Yes – her eyes were as perfect as the rest of her body.
“Hello” she greeted me with a gentle smile.
“Hello” I nodded and smiled back, simultaneously straighten up.
“Oh, British?”
“Yes, Mme” I smiled a bit wider.
“I’m Lisa” she कहा and held out a hand.
