A thousand things flashed through Onyx’s mind, until it finally settled onto one thing, Anger. Not directed at Misty of course, it was directed at Judy, the woman who had driven Misty to the edge. In the midst of Onyx’s thoughts, he noticed a gentle touch on his arm. Onyx looked at Misty. His healing had seemed to work, but there was still one blue and yellow bruise on the left side of her face. Misty’s eyes were filled with tears, and some spilled down her pale cheeks.
