and felt so safe?

आप could almost taste it?
Have आप ever made a promise,
आप just couldn't keep?

Your eyes
I used to think
They were so beautiful
Now all I see
Is darkness
An empty shell
आप went through hell
I'm not so sure
What's left of your soul
But in some way

They're still beautiful

The air is hot and still
But rain pours down
The leaves on trees whisper
to eachother
Thunder roars
Lightning flashes
And people dance in the rain
Caught in the middle
Of the summer storm
