Picking em off from a distance is my method. It's only good in 1 and 2 though. My favourite in Halo 3 would be the Battle Rifle.

i was playing on halo 3 online the other day and i got a rocket launcher and the opposite team was all in a bubble shield there was like 8 of them and i killed everyone by jumping in the top and shooting i also killed my self hahahaha i got the achievement of 4 kills in 4 seconds for tht effort lol

I like the Spartan Laser but the Assault Rifle has been very usefull. A friend of mine Doesn't like the Assault Rifle. He says its not very affective like the Battle Rifle. I like the Assault Rifle better if you need a good weapon its got your back. One thing to ask whats the halo 2 pistol picture it has a warthog with a tank gun ? What is that ????

Sniper + Shotgun = unstoppable, until you die some impossible way and you have to find the guns again. Shotguns are good for the Flood and for Elites since they bring down shields. Snipers are good for most missions where you can stay far away from enemies, which is why you never use it for the Flood - they're either chasing after you or just too close to snipe.

I wish whoever made this question would have used the actual names of the weapons. Instead of Halo 2 pistol and such. Anyway my Favorite AR would prabably have to be the MA5C. This is the AR in Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST. It is the best of the MA series. All the ARs from the games fire a 7.62mm FMJAP(full metal jacket armor peircing) round. The ARs are a good all around weapon.
