Het Amerikaanse magazine Billboard zal de trofee voor Vrouw वैन, वान het Jaar dit jaar uitreiken aan zangeres Taylor Swift. De huldiging gebeurt op 2 december in New York.

Met haar 21 lentes is तत्पर, तेज, स्विफ्ट de jongste artieste die deze eer te beurt valt. Onder haar voorgangster zijn onder meer बियॉन्से en फ़र्गी वैन, वान Black Eyed Peas. De zangeres kende 12 succesvolle maanden: haar derde album 'Speak Now' werd al vier miljoen keer verkocht in de Verenigde Staten en ze heeft er net een internationale tournee opzitten. In totaal verkocht de zangeres al ruim 20 miljoen albums wereldwijd en zo'n 40 miljoen singles. (Belga / KAV)

België in tweede halve finale Eurovisie Songfestival

De Belgische inzending voor het Eurovisie Songfestival zal optreden tijdens de tweede halve finale op 12 mei in Düsseldorf. Grote landen als Frankrijk, Groot-Brittannië, Duitsland, Spanje en Italië zijn rechtstreeks geplaatst voor de finale op 14 mei.

In totaal zijn er 38 landen die in twee halve finale-avonden zullen strijden om een plekje in de grote finale.

It seems that Hermione has replaced Ginny as the most hated female in the Harry Potter series.

Vijf jaar na het platinum bekroonde 'The Open Door' verschijnt vandaag het nieuwe album वैन, वान Evanescence, simpelweg 'Evanescence' geheten. De eerste single luistert naar de naam 'What आप Want'. De bijhorende clip is in zijn eerste 4 weken online al bijna 3 miljoen keer bekeken op YouTube.
