Ryan Murphy: "In the back nine, because Fox was so supportive, we were denied nothing. [We said], 'Let's go from five numbers to eight. Let's see how that feels'. We did that, and I think many of them were fun and really successful. But then what we realized is people love the numbers but they love the characters just as much. So in the second season we're going back to five numbers."

I don't know really. I love the story and the songs equally. But I'd rather have a couple of good songs an episode and the main focus being the story, opposed to loads of songs, some of which are just OK and not a lot of story.

i don't know. i think it should have as much story as songs :S and i think tina, kurt, quinn and puck should sing more.
