To make it clear with everyone! OnDemand showed this episode once Cartoon Network cancelled it, but it's up on YouTube now! Woohoo! There's also rumor that it may दिखाना in Episode 13's place one fateful Friday night lol.
So, here we go!
This episode starts off in a town, with Rex and Six fighting a bug turned giant Evo. It's a pretty sweet fight. So anyway, Six suggests that they cure it, and then Rex mentions that he has problems curing non human Evos. With Six's encouragment, he tries anyway. At first it doesn't really work too well, so he tries again... Then someone shots the freaking bug... making it blow up... wow.
Alright, so this guy, the hunter, is super racist against any kind of Evo and threatens to shot Rex, too. Before anything starts, Six steps between them, thankfully. An argument starts and this Hunter guy actually has a few valid points, getting the public on his side. Six tells Rex to let it go and they leave.
Later, with Holiday and Bobo, Rex tells them what happened. Holi says that some people just don't understand and Bobo says humans are idiots. Rex argues that most people aren't dumb, but if they're willing to believe this Hunter guy... 'makes आप wonder'.
Six informs White on the new threat. This guy's name is Hunter Cain and he लॉस्ट his wife when she turned Evo... Explains that. Btw, his gun is named 'Sweet Caroline'. Six actually considers that this guy may end up being a problem... so that's really not good. Cain also has his own miny army, which also sucks.
Cain makes an announcement on the news that the people should be wary of 'this so called Rex'. Rex, meanwhile, starts screaming at the TV while he's in the middle of a fight. Hilarious. He ends up curing the Evo, but instead of being eternaly grateful like the naked guy, this dude just runs away.
NOAH! Wow! He's back! Ok, so, Rex and Noah are shooting hoops (well, trying to on Rex's part). Noah mentions that he seen the News with Hunter Cain. Noah tells Rex that people will listen to anything, as long as they believe it'll keep them safe. Then a few rude people walk up... then a few more... then a mob... It gets a little... bad. Noah tries to help, but the mob just ends up hating him, too. Poor guy. Some loser throws a rock and Noah tells Rex that he should leave, but Rex says he isn't going to let a few people push him around... except, it's not exactly a few. People keep throwing stuff and... well...
Rex brings out the एक प्रकार का जहाज़ Hands. I have to blame Six for this one. Rex has been trained to defend himself against any kind of threat... so, yeah. It was only to scare them though, it's not like he meant to actually use them... cept... People kept throwing stuff and Rex accidently hits a guy... BadBadBadBad He does try to apoligize, but of course, no one listens to him.
So, yeah, they're about to lynch Rex, when a freaking bus suddenly comes out of nowhere and hits Rex head on. It's the Hunter's little army. Rex suddenly gets pissed. He busts out the B.F.S., slashes the bus in half, then brings out the buzzsaw and cuts the bus to pieces. Everyone is freaking scared of him now. Noah tells him to get out of there. Rex says that he has to explain, but Noah really makes him leave. Rex flys away before anything really, really bad happens. Also, he ditched Noah... hope he's alright and not beaten to death या something.
So, Rex's stunt ends up on the news. Footage, eye witnesses, the whole nine yards. Also, people keep calling him an 'it'. WHITE IS PISSED. Holiday takes up for Rex, द्वारा blaming Cain. Which is true, this was all his fault. (Bobo suggests making a कोट out of humans. Real help there. But it's obvious he's ticked off with the people for blaming everything on Rex.) White seriously wants this all to stop. Holiday says that at least they have the truth on their side and says to discredit him and it'll be over. Again, she's right. Rex was sneaking around and heard the whole convo.
Ok, so, apparently Noah's alright, but it seems that if Rex goes down, he's taking his buddy with him. They go to a diner... like some idiots. No one really notices him, until the Hunter walks in.
Noah: आप कहा we were going for pie!
Rex: Yeah, pie at his प्रिय restaurant.
Poor, poor Noah! Rex seems to have done a little digging on this Hunter guy (which was probably easy, since Six did it first). Rex simply tries to talk to and reason with the guy. Cain claims that Rex is infected and Rex says that EVERYONE is infected. Apparently, Cain doesn't trust Providence AT ALL, which is kinda understandable. Rex starts to lose his patience and poor Noah tries to make him leave again. Cain says that the people don't need Rex या Providence. The people agree and Rex and Noah leave.
Rex is ticked off about the whole thing and basically just says 'screw it'. If they don't want his help, fine, they won't get it. Holiday quickly comes to the rescue on this one. She tells him that the people that do need his help will suffer and not to let one man get in the way of that. Rex says that it's not just Cain anymore, that it's everyone. He says he's through with helping people and walks away. Bobo offers his opinion, but she seriously doesn't want it.
Out of nowhere, alarms go off in the base and White tells everyone to go on full scale alert. AND (a thing of curiousity I've been having for awhile) we now know where The Keep comes from! At the bottom of the canyon is a ravine (it just LOOKS LIKE a ravine), but it 'opens up' and The Keep just came flying out of it in a very X-Menish style. It was awesome. It even shows that the Keep is actually BIGGER than Providence base. Neat.
Anywho, most of Providence is dispatched and Rex doesn't go with them. I half expected him to escape, but I don't know what's with him. Anyway! The entire team gets surrounded द्वारा Evos.
Providence Soldier: Sweet Mother of Mercy!
XD WHAT? ROFL. Ok, I'm better. Somehow, with his nanites I'm assuming, Rex can hear their radios and it is not good. White tells Six to go down and clean it up, even wipe it if he has to. Then! duhDuhDUH! The Little Hunters दिखाना up and clean out all the Evos with their explody gun things. Providence and the Hunters kinda work together to clear it out. Of course, the whole stupid thing gets on camera. This news lady moves around too much.
Six shows up to the fight and a soldier explains that Providence weapons aren't working, but the Hunter's are. Then, Rex दिखाना up! Yay! Even Six smiles lol. Rex says that he's just tired of seeing people do his job poorly. Then, Cain (the jerk) fires on Rex. IT'S A TRAP, INDIE! Rex barely manages to pull off some wicked awesome dodges, until one of his एक प्रकार का जहाज़ Hands is hit. Six tries to help, but the Evos surround him. Rex makes a run for it, but Cain is right on his trail.
Cain catches up to Rex and a fight starts. Sadly, the hunter is actually pretty good. But he loses his gun in the scruff. Btw, the Little Hunters run out of ammo and try to ditch, but the Evos make that... difficult. Back to Rex/Cain! Rex corners Cain and asks why. Cain says that Rex gives hope when there isn't any. (Depression over Evo wife much?) During this, Cain gets the drop on Rex and drops a cargo hold on him. But he's alright, except Cain puts the gun to his face.
Cain's radio starts chattering about his men. They're out of ammo and in trouble. Cain ignores it and let's spill that the whole thing was a set up. That he created those Evos to prove how worthless Providence is. Rex stabs the gun with his B.F.S. before Cain has the chance to आग and now Rex has got him cornered again. Rex doesn't kill him (dur) and tells him that he doesn't care what the people thinks about him and that he'll keep doing his job.
Rex: Because I'm awesome.
Lol! Yes, आप are! Also, his whole speech is caught on film. आप go, Rex! Anywho, Rex ties up Cain and flys back to the soldiers, hunters, and Six, who are having a bit of trouble. It's all good, though. Rex saves the day. Providence takes Cain into custody and threatens Rex again in 'I'll be back' kinda way. woohoo not. His Hunter's take off their masks, revealing they were a few people in the mob earlier, and ditch Cain. Good for them! Six admits that Cain isn't the only guy out there like that (nut job vigilante).
Suddenly, the people are back on Rex's side. "He saved my mom!" "He saved my dog!" "He saved my priest!" (last one was String Theory lol) Bobo says that, again, humans are idiots, but every once in awhile, they get it right.
Awesome episode!
What we learned:
- The Keep's hangar is under water. That it is so freaking awesome.
- Rex and Noah are cool again! Everything seems fine between them and I'm happy for it.
- Those बंदूकों (apparently Cain created them) to target the infected nanites directly and blow them up, in return blowing up the Evo. That was... awesome, but horrible.
- Cain also made those 'special' Evos somehow, but that's unreleased. Since Providence arrested him, I'm sure they'll find out.
- I think this episode was cancelled out in the first place, because it makes the public seem like the bad guy. But MoA's right. The person is smart, but people are dumb.
- Six says there are और people like Cain out there, so it won't be much of a surprise if we see someone else try this stunt.
