Tbh I feel like global chat was just infested with trolls and creeps anyways. I went there a few times and my first impression was literally some dude talking about his junk and pestering another user (calling her a slut among other things) to send him nudes.

I never used it either, tbh. I don't feel comfortable using chat especially with strangers or seeing other people's conversations like that. I prefer messaging and walls.

Welp, as far as my experience with chat goes, at least the global chat usually was full of trolls and it was annoying af.

I liked the global chat for contact with friends, same thing with meebo as well, should be bought back
