Why do so many people call एवनेसेन्स an ईमो band?

Yes... It is an ईमो band. But there is nothing wrong with that not everyone has to be ईमो to listen to them. There voice alone is enough to make them want to प्यार there music. And amy lee is ईमो u can tell द्वारा the way she dresses and wears her hair but is that her natrual hair color??

theyre acually alternative rock but I do understand why people call them ईमो because back before the bnd splitup (and rejoined) amy lee had a tough time and did ecome 'emo' self harming and stuff because she was under pressure and things but now she isnt like that ny और and is happy wth who she is but i guess it just stuck because of her depression for period of time back then

*scratches head* Do आप know what the true definition og "emo" संगीत is? Not what these posers that mimic one another and try to call themselves "goth subculture" - but true ईमो music? (don't get me started on emos are not goths)

ईमो संगीत is a विभाजित करें, विभक्त करें from punk that started in the mid to late 80s - the संगीत is loud, hard and has soft whispering lyrics. NOTHING like Evanescense.

At best they are Dark Rock. Many people class them as goth but Amy says she would describe them as alternative.

And certainly nothing near Emo... in the big scheme of things .. does it really matter?

एवनेसेन्स is bad नितंब, गधा ... Amy Lee is a phenomenal song writer and singer ... and they are amazing. why do they have to be put into a label?

A lot of people falsely label एवनेसेन्स because:

#1 They're mainstream and many mainstream bands have as many haters as followers.

#2 They use गॉथिक elements in their style of संगीत like keyboards, atmosphere and female vocals and many people seem to connect गॉथिक and ईमो as the same thing.

#3 Their lyrics (see above)

#4 A lot of people label anything that seems even slightly dark या depressing as गॉथिक या emo.

I also don't get it!!! एवनेसेन्स isn't an ईमो band या a goth band! एवनेसेन्स is a rock band with many different influences!
